@JonsGotJets@aceace_22 Yeah, I think Baker Aviation, Slate Aviation, flyExclusive and any other CL300 operator would corroborate this. We're seeing 800-1,000 hours annually (with mx luck!!)
@danielbraden18 Paying them a lot. Need 4-5 on the payroll. These are national averages and estimates only. $558K comes from the charter offset. Otherwise the annual cost is almost $2M.
Actually genius. I’m $1,000/hr and we only fly private (which you also pay for ~$10k/hr), and we take our clubs and oh… I choose the destination: Bandon Dunes.
There should be an airline booking option where you pay extra to sit next to an expert in a topic you’re interested in.
They’re on the flight anyway, and can opt-in to get paid to sit next to you to answer your questions.
Here’s how this would work:
1) List desired itinerary on an app
2) List your expertise (estate lawyer, etc)
3) Add your LinkedIn page
4) Enter your ask ($500 for full flight)
5) “Clients” search by trip/expertise
6) App matches people
7) App helps them book the trip, takes cut
I'm seeing an increasing amount of commercial flight horror stories.
It's just not worth it anymore.
I grew up pretty wealthy. In the 90s, it was common to see famous people in first class.
They all disappeared in the 2000s.
Now, airports are the new Greyhound bus terminals.
And it it going to get so much worse.
Private plane travel is the new norm. Eve mid-tier podcasters fly private now.
People will either fly private, or decide to just stay home in their fortresses.
God knows Amalfi isn't worth the trip anymore.
When's the best time to buy a private jet?
