With PhD program interviews and recruitment events coming up, current SRs are asked (and sometimes “required”) to aid admin in recruiting interviewees. As long as the strike continues, SRs should definitely withhold this labor as well. Recruits should know how UC treats its SRs.

Many of us are biomedical researchers studying Alzheimer’s, cancer, MS, Huntington’s, spinal cord injury, depression, addiction, the list goes on. We put in MORE than 40 hours a week while advancing health & research that give UC its prestige ($$$). The math ain’t mathing!
