❗️“The situation on the battlefield in Ukraine is such that the Russians, with their offensive, can hardly gain anything, while the Ukrainians, with their successes, are creating the conditions necessary for ending the war,” — U.S. Vice President JD Vance.
@LordAshcroft@WillCalverleyUK Thats the right question. Why? Because there are loads of people who will be voting to keep Reform out. In my constituency there are Green voters openly talking about "holding their nose" and voting conservative to keep Reform out.
Today, no one on Earth can say that we are not fighting for Crimea or that we have forgotten about Crimea. Every day proves that Ukraine remembers every part of its land, every one of its people, and is truly fighting to ensure justice for our entire state and every integral part of it.
Russia brought its war to Ukraine, starting nowhere other than Crimea, and now, with our actions – medium-range sanctions against the Russian occupier, our long-range sanctions plan, and all other forms of pressure on the aggressor – we are doing everything to force Russia to end the war and restore justice. And it is Crimea that is at the center of this policy of ensuring justice. Russia turned Crimea into a launchpad for aggressive operations against other parts of our country and against other nations. For a very long time, Russia has tried to normalize its war – to make Ukraine, all of Europe, and the world accept that its aggression supposedly cannot be stopped and that justice supposedly cannot be restored.
Today, Ukraine is depriving Russia of this launchpad and drawing a line under its attempts to normalize war. And in doing so, we remember that justice for Ukraine also means justice for the Crimean Tatar people – a people forced to endure deportation and decades of oppression, a people who were able to return to their homeland, but whose home the Russians tried to steal again, a people who have preserved their vitality and remain an inseparable part of our society.
Today, as we honor the blue banner with the golden tamğa – this proud flag that unites the entire Crimean Tatar people – we affirm that Ukraine is fighting for itself and all its lands, defending justice for itself and all its people – for everyone who calls Ukraine and our Crimea their home. We must stop Russian aggression. We must bring freedom back to all those who are currently in Russian captivity. We must guarantee security and a reliable peace for the entirety of our state and all our people.
Qırımtatar Milliy Bayraq künü hayırlı olsun!
Glory to Ukraine!
Last night, our long-range sanctions targeted the occupiers’ military logistics, oil industry, and air defense. All of this is a just response to Russia’s brutal attacks against our people. I thank the warriors of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, and the Special Operations Forces for their successful work at a distance of about 300 kilometers from the frontline.
Facilities on both sides of the Crimean Bridge were hit: maritime logistics used to transport oil in the Krasnodar region and an oil depot in temporarily occupied Kerch. In addition, military logistics facilities were successfully struck, along with four radar stations belonging to S-400 systems and two Pantsir systems.
I am grateful to all our warriors for their precision and professionalism. Russia understands only strength, and our long-range strength is certainly working for peace. Glory to Ukraine!
I find it flabbergasting that Russia ordered a sabotage operation against the British PM on UK soil and yet everyone seems to accept it's just business as usual.
This behaviour is why it's essential to defeat Putin in Ukraine.

This morning, UK forces boarded a Russian tanker in the English Channel that was secretly helping to bankroll Putin's war in Ukraine.
The first operation of its kind led by British forces, and a clear message: there is nowhere to hide.
Mark Carney, "Together we - Canada, Ireland, and the EU - are one of the largest economic, cultural, technological, financial blocks in the world"
"But to what purpose? Well, we are and can be a force for good because we safeguard the values of human rights, of dignity and pluralism that are people hold dear"
"Just as Irish monks centuries ago preserved, copied and taught classical knowledge amid the Dark Ages. We must preserve and defend our values, our traditions, our interests. During this rupture"
"Building true sovereignty cannot be achieved in isolation. It requires diversification. It requires partnership"
"Coalitions that work issue by issue with partners that share enough common ground to act together"
"And that's why Canada was the first non European country to join the EU's Safe Defence Procurement Program"
"It's why we're championing efforts to build a bridge between the Trans Pacific Partnership and the European Union"
"Something that would create a trading bloc of one and a half billion people, a rules based trading block of one and a half billion people"
"With these shared values, we have developed a unique worldview, transatlantic worldview, if you will, rooted in a simple but profound conviction that we are stronger when we are connected, that our prosperity grows when it's shared, and that we are the stewards of our lands"
"Canada, Ireland and Europe can be pivotal, powerful and purposeful, a force for good."
"The EU maintains preferential access to over 80 partner countries, making it the top trading partner for 80 nations globally"
"Together, we are powerful because we have the capacity to act together"
"Combined, the population is more than twice that of the United States"
"We have a larger cultural export industry and a more diverse one, I might add, a similarly sized GDP, comparable R&D spend"
Carney: “The next world order will likely be built out of Europe.”
Europe is entering a geopolitical expansion phase:
Ukraine, Moldova and the Western Balkans moving toward future EU accession, deeper agreements with the UK and Canada, and a European NATO defence budget that will exceed €800bn by 2030, surpassing Russia and China in nominal terms.
But scale alone is not enough.
Europe must complete the single market in services, finance and energy, reduce the innovation gap with the US, and build a unified foreign policy capable of defending European interests.
Carney: The new world order will be built from Europe. Canada is the most European of non-European countries, and we are transforming our cooperation with the EU ... In a more dangerous and divided world, Canada has chosen to build and work in partnership with Europe.
Russian strike on an ambulance in Kherson today.
Russia is systematically tearing Kherson apart, committing one war crime after another. The city is in a desperate, critical situation‼️‼️
