Class Day at Castle North today was great! Our band played AC/DC’s Back in Black for me! This was my last Class Day at CNMS as the Principal since I am retiring. I have spent the past 37 years in the WCSC & the last 20 of them at CNMS have been stellar! #cnms #wcsc #no2ndprize

I drove to Tell City Jr/Sr High School today to watch CNMS compete in the IASP Jr. Academic Super Bowl. CNMS won their IASP class & they also won the overall mixed division competition. CNMS is very proud of our academic team’s success! I LOVE THIS SCHOOL! #cnms #no2ndprize

Michael took part in the Indiana University School of Medicine “White Coat” ceremony today. This event celebrates the medical school students who are entering their 3rd year. After a rigorous two academic years at IU, they now will start doing hospital rounds #medschool #Indiana

We laid a friend to rest today. Wayne Allen was one of a kind & he & I used to do a lot together! Wayne would knuckle bump you & say 2006 Girls State Champs. That team & that ring meant everything. He had a great service & ElWaynyo would have been proud. #thunderstruck #RipWayne

Former Castle Math Teacher & State Championship Basketball Coach, Wayne Allen, passed away last week. There will be a celebration of life at Christian Fellowship Church (CFC) on Friday 4-24-26. Visitation will be from 2:00 - 5:00 PM with a service following. #ripcoach #friend

Wayne & I spent considerable time at both Boonville & Castle High School & I hate this loss terribly. He & I were friends & we travelled to games, concerts & everything in between. Wayne was truly one of a kind. Please pray for peace for his children & grandchildren. #rip #coach

Former Castle girls basketball coach Wayne Allen unexpectedly passed this morning. Won the Class 4A state championship in 2006. Also coached boys basketball at Boonville and others.

We celebrated the Castle North Middle School “Scholastic Squire” students tonight! The “Scholastic Squire” is our highest academic honor. Nearly every teacher was there to support our students! This was my 20th & last Scholastic Squires event & it was perfect #WCSC #no2ndprize!
