Do NOT mess with fandom.
It’s a double-edged sword. Do right by fans, and they’ll follow you to the ends of the Earth. But betray them, and they will cut you!
Amazon has pulled the plug on its new Stargate series - here’s why I think that’s the wrong move and why they need to make this show.
They need to listen to @MichaelShanks and let @martingero, @BaronDestructo and @bradtravelers cook. 🔥

The "Revive the Stargate Franchise" petition is at almost 42,000 signatures, even though Amazon has yet to officially announce the cancellation of its Stargate revival series: https://t.co/n0wVdYGzPA
@MattEurich Because the dealership model is broken, they are set up to milk every penny they can from the customer instead of just seting a market piece (or an MSRP) that is reasonable for both parties.
Yesterday, we 3x’d limits on Antigravity and are seeing you build so much more. One thing we heard was people are worried about hitting their weekly limits after a couple work sessions. To give you more runway, we’re 3x’ing the weekly Gemini quotas AGAIN on all paid plans.
We’ve also gone ahead and reset Gemini quotas on all paid plans. Don’t stop building!
Surface Laptop 8 is not out or announced yet, let alone pricing.
Microsoft DID announce Surface Laptop for Business 8th Edition, but this is not that, either.
This post is confusing an unannounced device with the Surface Laptop for Business, 13-inch with INTEL, announced this week, and is aimed at enterprise.
Anyone who follows computing knows there is markup on enterprise devices due to extended support, Windows 11 Pro license, and advanced security hardware/features.
Also, we have reported for the last 8 months that RAM and NAND prices will drive up the costs of all PCs.
Apple is known to be strategic in stockpiling, with long-term contracts and buying in bulk in 2025. Microsoft doesn't have this reach because it sells less than 1% of all PCs and is a boutique OEM, whereas Apple is a "preferred customer" and can secure better pricing due to volume.
Apple has also historically charged a massive premium for RAM and SSD upgrades (often 400% or more over market cost). These "upsell" margins act as a shock absorber. Translation: They gouged everyone in the past, but now can use that as a buffer to look like the good guys.
Also, while Apple keeps the entry-level prices down, it raises them on the extremely high-end, cause those people always pay anyway.
I rate this tweet below an F.
