@AK_Urban_1 I interpret it to be that the DOT is saying the additional lanes may not be needed for capacity (except during summer months), but there is a safety benefit to adding lanes and that is what WY has done—added lanes where they might not be needed for capacity but for are safety.

Great article by my niece about the difficulties black equestrians have finding helmets that fit properly with their natural hair. Made me wonder about cycling. @ayesuppose could you enlighten me?

This past week has been the hardest of my life. I said goodbye to my horse of a lifetime after 10.5 years. And then, my partner’s father suddenly died. Can’t help but feel like they had something to do with the timing of my first @nytimes A1 🤍🕊️

@ACShilton It’s been a long time because I found a LBS that I love, but as a large woman, I would get completely ignored. Never reached the point where they steered me to something I didn’t want cause they never asked. One shop immediately asked “who’s the bike for?”
