@PierreVLeBrun@DarrenDreger I'd say if the league or NHLPA wanted this investigated they should have done so at the time..... I'm not saying Babs should be hired but to now delay something at this point for something that should have been done years ago is a pretty bad look.

Per sources, some nuggets for you fans ;
I’m told G Cossa could be on the move with @utahmammoth among the interested clubs. F Berard also could be on move from @NYRangers . G Skinner among options for @Senators . #HockeyX
Sounds like the Oiler leadership group is firmly behind the Oilers going down this path. Babcock did meet with them to discuss things.
It’s a critical time within this organization and it would seem they feel whatever negative publicity may result from this is trumped by the level of urgency to get over the hurdle and win a cup.
Katz hasn’t hesitated to make these types of moves in the past.
@mathewjdp It would be cool to have only those who worked at least 5 games between the benches.
Would have some great colour guys, see the game at ice level and would be a smaller group.
Jakub Dobes of the Habs had a .910 save percentage in the AHL last year at age 23.
This year Connor Ungar, then 23, in the Oilers system had a .923 save percentage in the AHL.
The Habs promoted Dobes. The Oilers sent Ungar to the ECHL after his AHL stint.
