@Duncannotcoffee@SKINSWukong For you, sure. But to me, Blaziken has a better design, and a cool Mega, and Speed Boost as a cool Hidden ability. So he still wins for me.
@Duncannotcoffee@SKINSWukong Oh, and back to the starters. On a design level, without redoing the list I made in my head some time ago, The Sinnoh trio is middle to lower teir for me.
Some how I think we've either gotten off topic... or I wasn't following along like I thought I was.
But, while I would agree that Sinnoh is the worst region, I by no means think it's trash. To me there's just something about it that I can't put my finger on it that makes me not like it as much as the other regions. But I can still see things thta the games did right. Including the Remasters. Which long as I see them as "3D remasters" the only real issue I have with BDSP is the movement. Which is usually when you're trying to navigate a one tile turn, you can get stuck.
A minor issue would be that I know some follow Pokemon are wierdly scaled, and... π€ Didn't they also have an issue with sometimes block you? I forget which game that was lol.
That's really it. Do I wish they had the Platinum updates? yeah. But since they don't I've moved past that and look at them for what we got as opposed to what we didn't. What we got, was solid, outside of those two issues I mentioned.
@Duncannotcoffee@SKINSWukong Which one is good for nastagia?
For me, infernape is towards the bottom of the list. I don't dislike him or anything, I just like other starters more.
@InfernoZard10 Blaziken and Blastoise... Dunno about the grass starter yet.
Though, top three (not in any order) are meowscarade, Rilaboom, and Chesnaut
@SKINSWukong It is an upgrade to those games. So I'd recommend it based on that.
But if you played platinum, there are some things from that that didn't carry over.
@Dorayakich@mariotwtconfess I'll be honest, I think it works without trying to make it a prequel. Though they did end up referencing it imo with having them turn into babies and Yoshi helping them out.
Well, to shift from my silly comment. The Charizard in question was very rare, especially a first edition one. If I recall it was the actual rarest. As for Pikachu. The one that came in the base set was actually quite common. So sure it could be seen as cool today due to it being vintage. But as noted, the base Charizard was the rarest of the set.
