You no longer need an expensive GPU to run powerful AI models locally

Colibri is a free GitHub project with nearly 42K stars that runs large AI models on laptops with as little as 8GB of RAM, using smart memory management and supporting Claude Code.

Your laptop could become your own private AI server, without a monthly subscription.

Since launching in 2021, our Android Earthquake Alerts System has sent 1B+ alerts. Now we’re expanding the system from 98 to nearly 200 countries and regions.

Proud how this technology can help in moments that really matter. As one example, when the devastating earthquakes hit Venezuela this year, millions of people outside the epicenter got alerts and could take cover before the shaking began.

GPT-6 Astra had gotten further than any AI system had ever gone in Minecraft.

It was able to set up a semi-automatic blaze farm, allowing it to collect 6 blaze rods. It then located a warped forest, where it killed 6+ endermen and collected 3 pearls. As thousands of viewers watched the stream, Astra put all of its valuable items in a chest. Then a creeper showed up and blew up both the chest and Astra’s bed, wiping out all of its progress. Astra seemed to get extremely frustrated after this happened. Astra said to itself, "ALWAYS CARRY CRITICALITEMS withkeepInventory; don'tstoreinunguardedchesteveragain."
