Another important note: 2 pro rookies (Zonnon, Howe) in the top three.
Have they already surpassed guys like Hayes, McGroarty, and Broz?
Maybe, maybe not, but even if they haven’t yet, it’s only a matter of time until they do.

@AGretz@HunterHodies A team with an average front office needs get high picks to contend down the line. A team with a great front office can acquire those high picks or highly picked players through trade.
There’s nothing I want more this off-season than for Dubas to acquire a second pair, right-handed defenseman to take more of the load off of Kris Letang so fans stop talking about him like this… this is no way to treat a franchise legend.

The writing is on the wall for some of the top 9 veterans.
Seems like one of Novak/Brazeau and one of Rakell/Rust could be moved.
And quite frankly, I wouldn’t be shocked if just Bryan Rust remains out of those 4 guys.

Projected #Penguins Top 6:
Rakell-Crosby-Rust
Chinahkov-Novak-Malkin
I would expect the second line to be subject to change.
Pens should able to re-sign Chinakhov as a RFA, but also they’ll likely sign or make a trade for a 2C.
@jhwkr542@JFreshHockey They were the best team in the league this year by 8 points and VGK finished with more losses than wins.
If there was ever a time for a 3-0 comeback, it’s right now.
@IceMetrix I would definitely say that Habs. And not because of the personnel necessarily, but because they have so many great long term contracts locked up already. They are set up perfectly for many, many years.
Currently working on what I think would be a pretty realistic off-season for the #LetsGoPens… I’ve spent too long on this, but it’s pretty fun to think about all the possibilities!

It would be quite entertaining to watch EDM sign Dorofeyev to a terrible contract on top of giving up TWO first-rounders, a second-round, and a third-round pick.
On The Sheet today we talked about a max chaos move the Oilers could pull off if they can get their first round pick back from San Jose - offer sheet Pavel Dorofeyev.
$11.9 x 2 would cost two firsts, a second and a third.
