@AndrewTWalker I would expect a good scholar like Dr Wilsey to give data to support the claims 1) that Muslims aren’t assimilating to US (vs prev immigrants), 2) there is actual threat of Sharia superseding any US law, and 3) advocating for assimilation is career ending taboo. But alas

This case always gets people going (taking a severely impaired infant off life support against the wishes of his parents). Lots of bioethics issues raised—parental autonomy, research ethics. The court ruling is also quite readable too (against savulescu)
