In his last known recorded speech, Jaswant Singh Khalra speaks on the struggles Sikhs face as they migrate to a different country, talking about the contrast between different cultures and civilizations - “asking for your own home is not tearing down someone else’s home”. He also talks about the responsibilities we hold as Sikhs and how we should uphold the legacy of those who fought so hard to let us live with the freedom of our identity.

Shortly after returning to Punjab, he was abducted and disappeared by Indian police.

The suspension of this account, which tracked disinformation and hateful speech against Sikhs, is unjust. The X removed an account dedicated to highlighting these issues against the Sikh community.

Those spreading hate against Sikhs are being given free run while those countering hate and disinformation against sikhs are being blocked by X.

Such biased actions by X will pave way far, hate crimes and mass violence against Sikhs.

A concerning targeting Sikhs and Punjabis living abroad has surfaced, preying on their wish to visit Gurdwaras in Pakistan and ancestral homes from the partition era.
Fraudsters use social media to offer fake pilgrimage tours and ancestral visits for a fee. Mahender Pal Singh has issued a video , on the background of Gurdwara Nankana Sahib in Pakistan, warning to the Sikh and Punjabi communities, advising them to avoid these scams.
The issue was brought to light By Pakistan's first Sikh cricketer Mahindar Pal Singh who is predominantly a Right Arm Medium Fast bowler.
He recommends directly contacting the Pakistani Embassy in respective countries or the Pakistan Gurdwara Management Committee #PSGPC for reliable information, avoiding unreliable middlemen.

The attacks on farmers and medical teams are deeply concerning and completely unacceptable. It is heartening to see individuals who are standing strong on the ground and providing medical assistance despite the difficult circumstances. The emotional scars left by these incidents will undoubtedly strengthen the resolve of the farmers and laborers of India to stand united and fight for their rights.

It is essential for those in power to consider the potential consequences of their actions and make informed decisions that will benefit the greater good. The words of JFK are particularly relevant today - "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."  I apprecaite all the medical personell who put their lives at risk in these tough times. Brief glimpse of what happened today:

- No farmer attempted to cross borders today.
- They were waiting for their leaders' final decision.
- Agriculture Minister @MundaArjun invited farm leaders for another meeting.
- Farm leaders were ready for talks, but the government was continually firing tear gas shells.
- Some government officials met with farm leaders and tried to convince them to meet with the union government.
- Farm leaders from the Khanauri border traveled to the Shambu border for this meeting.
- While the meeting was in progress, paramilitary forces entered Punjab at Khanauri border, attacked farmers, and vandalized their tractors.
- Three dozen farmers were attacked, one was killed, and a couple of them were seriously injured and taken away by police in jute bags.

- Amid all these developments, farmers did not attempt to cross borders.

Bhai Amritpal Singh and his fellow detainees in Assam's Dibrugarh jail are currently in a precarious state. They are pointing out that the food provided to them may be contaminated with poisonous substances by the authorities. They have been held in confinement at the Dibrugarh facility since March of last year under the harsh provisions of the National Security Act despite the complete absence of any concrete evidence justifying their detainment. Their sole transgression is because of their vocal advocacy for Sikh rights within the context of a supposedly democratic nation.

Should any harm befall these Sikh political prisoners in Dibrugarh, both the prime minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi and the chief minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann, must bear responsibility for this sad affair.

We urgently call for Bhai Amritpal Singh and other Singh’s immediate release from Dibrugarh prison and the initiation of a fair and transparent trial concerning the unfounded charges under which they have been unjustly detained
