I am extremely blessed, and excited to announce my commitment to Oakton College. I would like to thank God for blessing me with this opportunity as well as my Family, Coaches, Teammates, and Friends for all their support. GO OWLS! @Oakton_Baseball@DellariaDa419 @LPBaseball2023
Today was the 500th win for KJ and myself. We started coaching in 1999. Thanks to all of the great players, great parents, and especially our great wives Jeannie and Jen! I couldn’t ask for a better guy to coach with for all of these years! Thanks you all! Go Lancers!
Great comeback against a great St Charles team. Folkes with big two run 1B to take lead and big hat player of the game. Slade W in relief 3 IP 7K. Lp 14-3 overall and 6-2 in DKC.
In September 1992, Pearl Jam threw a free concert in Seattle's Magnusson Park with more than 70,000 in attendance.
During the show, Eddie Vedder performed a death-defying feat.
He climbed the stage scaffolding with 100 feet of microphone cable trailing behind him, looped it over the top, rappelled down, and swung out over the audience.
Reflecting on the moment later, Eddie said:
"I was channeling something different. I reached that place you hear about where a mother lifts a car off her two-year-old child. It was that kind of adventure. At that point in my life, finally having the opportunity to perform for larger crowds, I genuinely felt like I had nothing to lose. I wasn't thinking about what might await me in the future. It was all about the present moment. This mindset aligned with the message we, as a group, wanted to convey to the audience at that particular time. Risking my safety to evoke such emotions became part of the performance."
