@rachel_luscher@Capitals@JohnWaltonPxP@CapitalsRadio It’s ironic that people that grow up in New York magically find their way down here. Joe B is a former Long Islander, I’m a former Long Islander, but grew up a Caps Fan and part of the reason I chose DC is my love of the hockey team.
@Amtrak truly disappointed. No hot water in my View2 which ok. But now got rebooked to coach on the way up to DC because of maintenance, you guys should’ve upgraded me to a bedroom or flown me home. It’s one thing if it’s one thing but when it’s multiple it’s extremely annoying
DC’s FFs deserve more than words, they deserve action.
They protect DC every day, yet they have been working w/o a new contract for 374 days.
We appreciate the kind words but respect isn’t spoken-it’s shown. It’s time for the city to show up for those who always show up for DC
#UniteFightOrganize for a fair DC Budget that allows @IAFF36 retro back pay, PFL, and proper FTEs that allow us to match our city’s growth for the residents and visitors.

Tonight, the DC Firefighters Association mourns the loss of Lt R Heaney. He was a Union Leader, Company Officer, Fireman, and a Family man. He died in the line of duty due to occupational cancer. Our condolences to all who knew him. May you RIP Brother Heaney.
Engine 7 from the Waterside firehouse stopped by Salt Line on 1st St SE to support the DC Firefighters Burn Foundation Christmas tree lot. Proceeds from sales support the Foundation, dedicated to assisting in recovery & rehabilitation of injured firefighters and burn patients.
@IAFF2800@libbygarvey@Matt4Arlington@Susan4Arlington@maureencoffeyva You guys also should be tagging Ted Leonsis because Engine 102 is first due to the MedSTAR Capitals Iceplex. It’s never a good thing when units are browned out; but in the complex web of the COG’s mutual aid it doesn’t just influence Arlington.
