What would be the most cost effective & acceptable RCT to assess thromboprophylaxis in pregnancy/ puerperium?
- using decision analysis & qualitative studies of women & healthcare professionals
- we found a RCT in obese postpartum women would be most valueable & acceptable

A #bloodclot in a deep vein is a #DVT. It can break off & travel to block blood supply to the lungs = #pulmonaryembolism (PE). Together a #DVT and #PE are collectively called venous thromboembolism #VTE. #ClotChat #WTDay22
