@AndrewSteinwold Allows bots on here to divide us, shut off starlink over Ukraine, and lies to her has agenda through..
He only cares about his agenda with spacex.
He’s a genius but need to be throttled
The shifting explanations from Musk and the administration sound like Abbott and Costello’s “Who’s on First?” Except the consequences for Ukrainian civilians are deadly.
Musk says he didn’t do it. The administration says it didn’t either. Yet someone in the administration reportedly told Musk to undo it, and Ukraine reports only partial restoration.
Are we supposed to believe Hegseth and the Pentagon don’t know the status of a capability critical to U.S., Ukrainian and allied security?
Whoever is handing Putin the gift of a more vulnerable Ukraine should at least have the guts to put their name on it. Hiding behind denials while innocent people pay the price is cowardice.
Meanwhile, Putin keeps murdering civilians and trying to starve and freeze Ukraine into submission. Americans deserve answers. Ukrainians deserve the means to defend themselves.
Im convinced @elonmusk just doesnt want to go to jail or regulated. Hes too smart to not see through @POTUS s BS
Also - im off X AGAIN FOR THIS UKRAIN SHIT #DELETEX
Becuase it impacts his shareholders. This short term market driven thinking is eroding the long game.
USA has eroded its brand farthest/fastest of any brand in history; excluding say the Catholic Church.
Look how long that comeback as taken
@profgalloway
Why on earth would a public company CEO of a $32 billion company that is heavily regulated and visible comment on something as political and controversial as this?
If I was a board member, I would tell him to shut up and do his job.

He says the name just fine when he’s begging the Qataris for a personal jet or the Saudis for funding for his son-in-law’s private equity firm.
Wonder what’s changed?
@ChrisMartzWX You don’t understand what you’re saying and i used to think that too Chris. The issue si that the top 1% are so much richer that the dollars are that much higher but as a percentage of net worth a fraction of what you pay as a percentage of you net worth or earnings.
What he said - this is the most accurate picture of Elon as a whole.
Politically, i have real issue with him; specifically around Ukraine.
He sparked American ingenuity again, that gets him big ups, but getting trump elected detracts heavily and clouds the picture
I’ve spent a few days thinking about the Tesla Roadster reveal and landed somewhere I haven’t seen much discussion. I’m neither a Tesla fanboy nor a Tesla hater. And I couldn’t care less whether what we saw technically qualifies as a flying car. Three takeaways: (1) The risk of that live demonstration going horribly wrong was real. Almost no CEO would willingly expose their company to that kind of public humiliation for a product with so little financial upside. Elon did. (2) That willingness to attempt the seemingly impossible is what makes Tesla special. It’s also arguably Elon’s greatest contribution to America. He’s helped bring back something we’ve lost. The American spirit of chasing big scary ideas that most people think are impossible. That mindset is spreading across a new generation of founders and its long term impact on America’s future could dwarf anything Tesla ever sells. I think this is deeply underappreciated. (3) Can we just acknowledge how insanely cool that moment was? We’ve reached a strange place culturally where even extraordinary feats of human ingenuity immediately become arguments about why they don’t count. Not everything needs to be a debate. Sometimes we should just be able to stand back together and marvel at what humans are capable of. I’ve been both bullish and critical of Tesla’s ambitions over the years. But watching Elon and his team push the boundaries of what’s possible reminds me why I’m glad we have him. Whether the Roadster ever makes Tesla a dollar or impacts $TSLA stock price is almost beside the point. We need more people willing to risk failure in pursuit of things the rest of us think are impossible. Because when they succeed we all win.
“we will pay any price….to assure the success and survival of liberty.” Is this still true? Do we prize liberty or do we prize power and purse? No more clear test than the choice between Ukraine and Russia. Abandon Ukraine and we abandon liberty. Eventually even our own.
