@catchyoulater72 @altrinchamfc The match report is on the website now.

@kelvmackenzie Absolutely spot-on. After listening to her continually interrupt Badenoch, then have the gall when tables were turned to say “don’t interrupt, let me finish the question”, I had to switch off. And the sign-off, where she says thank you, was dripping with contempt.

[John Edwards @JEAlty]

@RealTimVine Yes it does, 💯

[John Edwards @JEAlty]

@awwwards @codebydennis @osmosupply @_isabeledwards @iljavaneck That looks so impressive...👌😎

@LeeClayton_ Lovely piece, great read - it captures the sights and sounds of a proper old football venue perfectly 👏.

[John Edwards @JEAlty]

@dahaniuk @lancscricket In fact, one day, Farokh Engineer arrived at the nets, bat in hand but no bowlers around. Peter threw me a ball and said to him: "This little lad will bowl to you." I duly got to bowl to the great Farokh for about 10 minutes! I'll never forget that. Great guy. RIP Peter.

[John Edwards @JEAlty]

@dahaniuk @lancscricket Me too, back in the early '70s when I was at Burnage GS. I bowled off-spin, and he gave me so much advice and encouragement. I had a schoolboys membership at Lancs CCC, and, if I was watching the players in the nets before the start of play, he'd always say hello and have a chat.

@burnerbabyb @altrinchamfc @SolihullMoors @JDavidsonScrap @altymoore1 Someone else does the stats. I just write the match report, but I have now added Duku to the bookings at the bottom of the page. Thanks for pointing it out.

[John Edwards @JEAlty]

@_isabeledwards Perhaps a different hotel this time, if you do go..

@Inevitablewest Just as they would hate to end Sports Personality of the Year with Happy Christmas everyone, hence Happy Festive Season. Ridiculous, absolutely scandalous.
