@VOGCouncil Working with local organisations to help sustain local facilities means asset transfer. Offloading community buildings to the charities already running them and offering no support financial or otherwise to keep them open. This has already happened with your Bowls Clubs.

@The_peoples_eel Lived on the bank of Dunwear ponds - late 50/60s. As boy fished from garden, mainly rudd or roach. Caught many eels. Hooks were easily removed from the rudd etc for return, but eels swallowed the hook, making removal difficult and harming the eel. A factor in their decline?

St Peter’s Church in Dinas Powys, Vale of Glamorgan, was designed by John Coates-Carter and completed after his death in 1927. Consecrated in 1930, an interesting late Arts and Crafts church
