My baseball-obsessed 7 year old hasn’t ever so much as touched a soccer ball in his life and now he’s spending his evenings out here pretending he’s Flo Balogun.

I don’t think it’s possible to overstate the impact this World Cup will have on this sport’s popularity in America.

@GlennDavisSoc Ponce plays as if he has tree trunks tied to his cleats. Touch of a donkey and when he somehow manages to control the ball he ends up giving possession to the opposition. Don’t even get me started on the manager, he is lost.

@RubioSoccer35 I wish I could pull up the clip but i remember Patt Onstad stating that Kieran Sargeant didn’t live up to the expectations that the club had when he would play for Dos. If i remember correctly soon after that he was loaned out to Lexington.

@TrentonVernon @tombogert @HoustonDynamo Up until 2013-14 we were a solid and respected team in the league. Ever since then we’ve been a laughing stock and not taken seriously. Yeah, we have won some open cups but we have no consistency and shown no true ambition. I’m tired of it.
