@JeffGrubb It was also released prior to Nintendo having a 16 bit system on the market, but after the MegaDrive.... But even talking about the 16 bit era is a problem. What about the PCE/TurboGrafx? There's an argument to be made that they're only 8 bit. Is the 32x part of the 16 bit era?
