@The_DrJ3ckyll@jaredpolis The Ds brought this on themselves by catering to the extreme left to gain power. Too bad for the Ds that none of their braintrust bothered to read history. Now, they will live their own and it won't be pleasant.
@tomselliott@AOC It seems the Founders were prescient and it would seem they also knew about the coming Civil War almost 80 years in advance. But, I imagine she still can make a mean gin and tonic.
@DejahThoris47 I know the cut off aid vote was in the House, not the Senate. But, I don’t recall any D Senator protesting what was done. So, if Fetterman is waiting for an official divorce from Israel, I think he has it.
If Israel is treated like the UK and France, should Israel treat the US in a similar manner? If so, time for Israel to tell the US to remove its tanker fleet from Ben Gurion, and, if asked, refuse to fly any missions or provide any up to date intelligence or other support. Is that really what we want?
So, is the "anti-Vance op" a response to the Rogan interview and the Time article? Is it just a coincidence In that the article was published shortly before the interview. In my opinion, it looks like astroturfing.
@VividProwess Intersectional politics works until the first roadblock. In the case of "Queers for Palestine" the roadblock will be in the form of a tall building.
@hahussain Rep. Smith now claims he voted to cut aid to Israel because he and his family were threatened. Well, he certainly does not qualify as the "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" portrayed by Jimmy Stewart in 1939.
@davidharsanyi It seems he forgot to mention the vast sums "invested" by our erstwhile allies, Qatar and Saudi, in our education system to urge our children to earn useless degrees that prepare them to wait tables or serve coffee and to blame the system for their failures.
You may be right. I do wonder, though, if Vance's appearance on Rogan was cleared, in advance, with the WH? While I hope not, given Trump's recent public lashings of Israel and Netanyahu, demanding it withdraw from Lebanon and Syria, allow Syria to disarm Hezbollah, and failing to demand Hamas disarm as he said he would when the Board of Peace was instituted, I would be saddened but not surprised.
@JustAnIranianIr Is Vance hedging his bets for 2027? If the Ds run the table, Trump likely will be impeached and out of office by 2027. Vance then will be the President and, with his Rogan interview, will have assured both the extreme Left and Right that his mind is right on Israel.
