National Geographic is always a good go-to if you're wanting to incorporate longer texts into KS3 lessons. I've seen this technique used in History to help analyse sources, so thought I'd try adapt for Geography. Print on A3 and pre-teach the tier 3 vocab.

Spent today making 'Write Like a Geographer' cards for yr 7-11. Rather than a generic literacy mat, these have key terminology specific to topics studied in each year - could be used in the front of books/included with knowledge organisers? Let me know improvements/suggestions!
