I’m moved by this recent picture of Ukrainian Christians kneeling in prayer.
Lord, we pray for the people of Ukraine during this difficult time. Protect the innocent and vulnerable. Give wisdom to global leaders. Humble the proud. Lord, we long & pray for peace. #PrayForUkraine
88-year-old Barb Hansen has earned several nicknames since she began rooting for the Northwestern Tigers in 1964. The good luck charm. The mascot. The pillow lady. Gram.
The one that encompasses them all?
Superfan.

2000 years ago Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early Sunday to finish anointing Jesus’ body. What she saw that morning changed everything for all Christians. Jesus was not in the tomb. He is alive! -John 20:18. Happy Easter!
Libby and Jarrett said, “I do” last night. It could not have been more perfect. Thank you to all our friends and family for celebrating this special occasion with us. AND yes, that is Jarrett being thrown into the air BEFORE the wedding. Nothing could have gone wrong with that.
Tomorrow we get to watch our son start the next phase of his life. Jenelle and I are very proud parents. We know they are going to have awesome adventures together and I am sure there will be many more faces like that from Libby.

Want to say 1 simple truth to you today. Your God who loves you will be faithful to you. Give it time. Know He is ever working.
In the blur, you are seen.
In the silence, you are heard.
In the upheaval, you are held.
In the frightening unknown, you are fully, securely known.
Do you struggle with people pleasing? I encourage you to watch this...
Only God has the right to define your life. Don’t give critics the power or right to define you. Start tuning them out today, and tune into God’s voice.
God isn’t ever caught off guard, taken by surprise, or shocked by what happens next.
So no matter what this day may have held, you can sleep well tonight. You are safe in His hands.
“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety.” Psalm 4:8
