• I have a theme in mind for my curation. How it manifests will become clear as the many artworks I select form a cohesive bond… and so we co-create. Here is the prompt:

Today, we are thrilled to introduce FOTO World, a platform that will redefine the landscape of photo curation. As the founder of FOTO, I believe that every picture tells a story and that every story deserves to be heard.

FOTO World is more than just another platform; it celebrates diversity, creativity, and the power of visual storytelling. Our goal was to create an inclusive and empowering space for photographers from all backgrounds. We aim to break down barriers and build a community where diversity is not just welcomed, but cherished.

This initiative is a labor of love, funded out of our own pockets and built on the invaluable time and effort of our dedicated team. We are here not for profit but to facilitate a new paradigm in the art world - curation by photographers, for photographers. This approach stems from our deep-rooted belief in supporting artists and ensuring that the beauty of photography is accessible and celebrated without financial barriers.

As one of the first multi-photographer curated teams in Web 3, we are setting a new standard in collaborative art curation. Our partnership with @TIMEPieces, @foundation, and @DirectoryDotArt has been instrumental in achieving our vision. @DirectoryDotArt, in particular, has been a key ally in developing the backbone of our democratic and anonymous voting system, ensuring fairness and transparency in our curation process. @TIMEPieces has been essential to FOTO, hosting many of our physical galleries during significant events such as Art Basel and NFT NYC. Similarly, @foundation has played a crucial role in championing artists' rights to own their narratives and enforce royalties, an ethos that deeply resonates with our own values as artists. We chose to partner and collaborate with these organizations because they have been pivotal in reinforcing our commitment to providing artists with the recognition and platform they deserve.
