During my first visits to @wwfcofficial there were 3 things that I distinctly remember - the sheer physicality of the games, the blonde flowing locks of our striker Nicky Evans and John Granville, our goalkeeper, having the ability to throw the ball further than he could kick it.

@paulhtfp @JSWC1995 In terms of playing ability then yes, certainly but the sense of national identity (i.e. Serbian, Bosnian, Croat) was prevelant before the war. There are some great recounts from 1990 which highlight this.

Personally, I think it is a great idea and is something I hope yo attend. My only grumble (although I understand why) is that it isn't on the pitch watching the big screen

I am sure that most Liverpool fans will disagree but this is an incredibly harsh decision.

A year ago a tragedy occurred that has had huge repercussions. It was always going to be incredibly difficult for the team to bounce back easily.

This decision loses sight of that
