@MightyFTN@DanClarkPR In the context of Al*n Sm*th seemingly trying to erase all traces of the O'Neill era, this shirt is the embodiment of what many fans hated most about his time at the club, and why old gits like me cannot be convinced otherwise that this is by far our worst ever shirt.
@RedimpsLCFC@GabSutton The "short good, long bad" dichotomy has always been nonsense. Intelligent and skillful use of the ball is what counts. The current "Guardiola by numbers" trend is too formulaic and predictable, teams that can improvise and sensibly manage risk will outperform them.
@RememberBlighty The racial stereotyping was appalling in that song. The insinuation that Terry Griffiths could sing just because he's Welsh was dispelled by the end of his verse.
A Portuguese guy turned up to our very English-style five-a-side. Week 1 he's unflappable, picking off pinpoint passes, barely broke sweat. Last night, Week 5 he hoofed a clearance out of the courts and yelled 'fuck's sake, lads'. So proud he's embraced our football culture.
VAR is no good. It's just not.
It doesn't need tweaking or resetting - it's just no good for football.
Referees make bad errors every now and but so does this billion pound tech overlord bullshit.
What have we gained? Nothing.
What have we lost? Live football.
