Last indoor track meet of the year and the ladies break 3 more indoor school records. Lila in the long jump and Caitlyn in the 55M and 200M.

Beautiful day outside and we had a great practice today at Wilmot. Sprinters had the 23 second run, jumpers were able to get some work in and the pole vaulters were able to utilize the indoor pit and get some work done on a windy day. Great support from great neighbors

Thanks @RBCHS_girls_tf @coach_seyller @CoachBrownWHS @hvdgirlstrack for taking phone calls, spending time talking ideas, and just being there to support all the athletes regardless of who's jersey they are wearing.

We were at the Sequoit Showdown and @coach_seyller shared a strategy with Caitlyn and then with me. He also took video, shared the video and gave his input. It is things like that, that make Track & Field so wonderful to me.

There were 4 KRC teams at the track meet and I talked to all of them and we talked about athletes and wished everyone luck. I believe we all want everyone to have success. We share what we do to help everyone get better.

Caitlyn continues to rewrite the school record books. She drops a massive PR in the 60 running 7.92 seconds which set the Rockford Auburn Girls Showcase meet record. Then comes back with a modest 26.48 in the 200. Both lowering her school records. Great job Caitlyn.

We have another good neighbor, Wilmot that will allow us on their track at 3:00. So we will be a traveling to 2 different schools this year. Not the perfect setup but we will do whatever we need to to support the girls and boys of Johnsburg Track & Field thanks again RB & Wilmot

Losing your track for the whole season is challenging. Having it happen when you have the best team you have ever had is frustrating. Thankfully we have good neighbors. The IHSA allows us to practice at the same time but we have guidelines we must follow.

@RBCHS_girls_tf thought we could make it work, but coaches do not always see/know all the other workings that Admin does. While not being able to use their facility until they finish is not ideal we are thankful to have their support. Thanks again @RBCHS_girls_tf
