14.3 (1) The most surprising thing I learned in this course was that our privacy is not so private anymore. People can find out anything about a person through social media. #GNED1411

14.2 I don't think there are any social media technologies that are already out will gain popularity because there are social media platforms like Instagram that are really popular and I don't see leaving any time soon. #GNED1411

13.3 Social media can be more of a distraction in the classroom. I think it should only be used for homework to continue the discussion from class and online classes to get people that don't know each other to talk and express their ideas. #GNED1411

13.2 Social media can be used in Education by using it for online classes like this one. Getting people to interact with each other even though they will never meet. I believe classrooms should start giving the option to use social media for their participation mark. #GNED1411

13.1 I have used social media for educational purposes such as using Twitter for this course. Also I have used YouTube to help learn techniques for photography and videography. There are so many free tutorial to help you use photo/video editing softwares as well. #GNED1411

12.3 I think digital activism/advocacy supported by the use of social media can make a difference in society to some extent. I think it raises awareness and informs people about a cause/social change. Hopefully in the future it encourages people to do something more. #GNED1411
