Have been wanting to use this idea for ages- to force Y13 to engage with their reading & it worked wonders! Thanks to all those who have shared the idea- a #historyteacher originally I believe! #geographyteacher#worldgeochat 📚
Forgot how much I (and the students) love this game. Just introduced CIE Population topic to my new Y12 students. Unfortunately, difficult to get the right colour jelly babies in Thailand so we had to make do with M&Ms. Thanks to @gatwUpdates
Students finished censoring each other's letters today. There wasn't much left from some! One colour means they would definitely censor it and the other means they're not sure.
It would make so much more sense if this cover was a joke, but unfortunately not. Is that the loch ness monster in the top right?! https://t.co/gmBTgjye1H
Writing trench diaries today then students will be turned into the role of censors next lesson (unaware of this). Censoring classmates work with highlighters should elicit some good discussion of fairness of policy #historyteacher
