To my smooth 🧠, it’s based on belief hasbro overprinted to “parachute” losses in other parts of the company, affecting value of older cards.

As a player of MTG, access to cards is not a bad thing. Lowering value of old cards? Who cares. Play them.

I’ve got a kid coming any day now, so I’m reading two different medical books on the subject:

It’s a nightmare.

I’m not poisoning my kid just so they can have the opportunity to hate school for 30 hrs a week.
