(8) Everyone was at risk from COVID — but those over 70 with comorbidities had over a thousand times the risk of young people.

(9) To save the world, everyone had to lock down — but blue-collar workers still had to deliver everything to every home on Earth.

(10) COVID organically arose from fruit bats — and definitely not from the virus lab down the road.

(11) Surgeons wear masks, and so should you — but surgeons don’t wear them when speaking to patients before surgery. Wonder why that is?

(12) It wasn’t a mass hysteria — but the average respondent thought 9% of Americans were already dead by summer.

(13) COVID was a super-deadly virus — but no one started dying until the world collectively screamed, “COVID is a super-deadly virus!”

(14) The COVID vaccines are vaccines — but we had to change the definition of “vaccine” to make it so.

(15) “Follow the science” — but The Science followed the virtue signals.

(16) We know the vaccines are all-cause mortality positive — but did no medium- or long-term studies before mandating them.

(17) Vaccines reduce transmission — but don’t.

(18) Ventilators and midazolam were beneficial — to hospital staff trying to suppress aerosols from patients they were, in effect, killing.

(19) The vaccines were safe and effective — but you couldn’t sue if they harmed you.

(20) “My body, my choice” — but not when it came to experimental injections.

(21) Small businesses were non-essential — but Walmart, Amazon, and liquor stores were sacred.

(22) It was an emergency — but we had time for TikTok dances in hospitals.

(23) Social distancing was vital — except during Progressive protests.

(24) Doctors were heroes — but only if they didn’t think for themselves.

(25) Progressives still hated big business — but eagerly demanded that Big Pharma drug you and Big Tech cancel you.

I have now read the Rape Gang Inquiry Report in full.

I've been following this story quite closely for something like a decade so I'm not exactly surprised by its contents, but three elements stand out to me amongst the horror.

The first is that a large majority of the victims who provided testimony describe some kind of troubled or disrupted home life. Some were molested by family members before the rape gangs ever got ahold of them. Others faced physical abuse, neglect, drug addicted parents, housing instability, and so on.

Their testimony often describes a kind of "screening" process where a girl's particular vulnerability was evaluated with more moderate boundary pushing before escalation to full on rape and abuse.

This isn't necessarily surprising given the nefarious intentions the gangs had for these girls, but their willingness to explicitly target the absolute most vulnerable children who were already struggling sickens me. These girls, more than anyone, needed some kind of adult guidance in their lives, and this vulnerability was cynically exploited to initiate them into an even more egregious Hell.

Which brings me to the second detail, which is the extreme violence these girls were subjected to. "Grooming Gang" is an unacceptable euphemism that may accurately describe common initiatory tactics employed against these girls, but which criminally downplays the behavior of their abusers once initiated.

These girls were not "merely" groomed into sex. They were not "merely" raped. They were not "merely" trafficked. They were subjected to a program of overtly racialized sexual torture and humiliation designed to maximally degrade them and kill them in their souls. And this was "acceptable" because they were White and not Muslims.

This detail fundamentally alters the character of these crimes. This was not horny men out of control or even cross-cultural understanding gaps around the age of consent. This was a targeted program of ritualized torture and subjugation as a means of ethnic domination. In other words, these gangs are conducting war against the White British using serial child rape and torture as a form of conquest.

These are not crimes in the conventional sense. These are war crimes being conducted by one civilization against another, and they need to be treated as such.

And finally, the third point (encapsulated in the excerpt below) is that every single level of the state utterly failed these girls in the most egregious and unfathomable ways imaginable.

It's one thing when you have no physical evidence and are confronted with a "he said / she said" situation with respect to a rape allegation. It's another thing entirely when you have a pre-teen frequent flier at the NHS back again for her Nth sexually transmitted disease treatment, a 13 year old with broken glass shards embedded in her vagina, or a pregnant 13 year old.

These are cases with obvious alarming physical evidence that no one addressed in any meaningful way.

Politicians (Labour in particular) covered it up and suppressed action into investigations in order to maintain the Islamic bloc vote.

Police suppressed investigations, dismissed accusations and evidence, intimidated victims into silence, arrested victims for the crimes of their abusers, dismissed proven cases of rape with impotent warning letters, and in some cases directly raped the girls themselves.

Care homes disregarded obvious signs of abuse (including outright confessions), and enabled their abusers to maintain consistent access to the girls, in some cases acting more like pimps than caregivers.

Social workers addressed victims' needs so incompetently they recommended victims audition for a TV show role about being a child prostitute because it was "relatable" and even attended a victim's coerced sham marriage to her abuser.

NHS staff consistently failed to do anything in the face of overt medical evidence of obvious, undeniable sex crimes against these girls, treating the acute problem and sending them on their way with no protection whatsoever.

And teachers, much like the social workers, routinely delivered their students into the predatory arms of their abusers as they waited outside the schools, and utterly failed to appropriately address signs or confessions of abuse.

Virtually every arm of the state is directly complicit in exacerbating the abuse. Not one single institution at any level reliably offered protection or recourse to these girls.

As far as I am concerned I Restore government would be entirely justified in firing every single person in the employ of the state. If they are not a documented whistleblower they are complicit and thus compromised, and none of them have any business retaining their roles or their pensions. On the contrary large numbers of state officials deserve severe penalties for criminal negligence or outright complicity in these crimes.

Justice for these crimes will necessarily take place at a scale that will shock the pacified sensibilities of the over-socialized Liberal West, but nothing short of a biblical level reckoning will be sufficient to qualify as justice in this case.

@RupertLowe10 is not wrong to draw comparisons to the Holocaust. It is the only appropriate frame of reference in the popular zeitgeist that articulates the actual magnitude of what was allowed to take place under successive British governments. Nor is he wrong to propose the reinstatement of the death penalty as the appropriate restitution for these crimes.

The rapists and state officials who enabled this atrocity both deserve to hang. And I pray that the British public will entrust Rupert with the power to deliver justice long overdo.

In any case I am deeply appreciative of his efforts to bring this to light. He is the hero Britain needs right now.

It is criminal that our government enabled a bat virus to infect and spread between humans. Indeed, it is hard to imagine a bigger betrayal of our species.

All one needs to refute your argument is to glance at my publicly available calendar and to review my unprecedented list of accomplishments on a wide range of issues, all of which I drove. You evidently never undertook these foundational due diligences. Why let facts obscure a good story?

You fault me for missing a couple of monthly counselor meetings. However, I meet one-on-one with my counselors every day to decide policy and strategy. We schedule the monthly meetings to give the divisions a chance to keep each other informed about HHS-wide policies with which I’m already intimately familiar. Had you read my calendar, you would have seen that I have back-to-back meetings all day, every day, with both career and political staff, with my counselors and with outside stakeholders, interspersed with press conferences and other policy announcements.

I am knowledgeable and active on every issue in every division of my department, and I always make the final decisions. I meet with the principals at FDA, NIH, CDC, and my senior counselor every morning, something, I’m told, is unprecedented in HHS history. I try to get out of the office between 4:30 and 6:00 PM, so that I can spend three hours, in quiet, responding to emails. I normally work until 11 PM every night, mostly on phone calls to staff.

In order to prove your preconceived case for my disengagement, you quote anonymous employees, some of whom I fired or who quit to avoid being fired. You also deceptively quote HHS employees without identifying whether they were among those I fired, thereby depriving your readers of the opportunity to make an independent judgment about their credibility.

I came into this job to change the culture of a broken agency that has presided over the worst decline in public health in American history. Of course I fired people—lots of them! It's an easy task for even the laziest journalist, to comb that flotsam and jetsam for malevolence toward the Trump administration. And of course, this species of journalist will always be able to find disgruntled individuals among the 70,000 employees of the Department from whom to cherry pick "facts" to flesh out a preordained hit piece. All that is required for this brand of journalism is the ethical elasticity that you seem to have in spades. You had a preconceived thesis, and you set out to prove it. This is a widely accepted technique in journalism today, but I grew up in an era when it would not have been tolerated by the New York Times.

Ultimately, God puts us all on this earth to search for existential truths. I've tried to instill this mission at HHS by implementing gold standard research to end the regime of politicized science that COVID exposed to the American public. There was a time that journalists were proud to be the fearless and uncompromising champions of truth. Standards have devolved, and journalism is dead. The Times now employs propagandists. Your capitulation to partisanship further compounds your journalistic challenges; since we all are aware of your predictable bias, we at HHS are unwilling to talk to you about the topics that are important. The fact that you have minimal access to decision makers leaves you covering trivia and relying on your own capacity for invention.

Btw. When I took this job, the building was empty. About 90% of the employees were not coming to work. I changed that, but your newspaper never covers my reforms. Nor did you cover the fact that my predecessor almost never showed up for work here during his four years in office. When we came in, there were still artifacts from the first Trump administration in many of our office drawers because no one showed up for work during the Biden years. Just as Rochelle Walensky spent her entire term as CDC Director in Cambridge, Xavier Becerra reportedly spent most of his term as HHS Secretary in California. (I live in California, but I’ve only been there once in fifteen months).

His only notable accomplishments here were losing 300,000 children, referred to HHS for custody and care, to human traffickers and drug runners, encouraging transgender surgeries, and disabling the entire program-integrity apparatus, allowing hundreds of billions of dollars of theft from my agency. I have set out to find the children Becerra lost. He is now the front-runner for the governor of California. These are not invented stories; they are genuine scandals that the Times will never cover, presumably, because the malefactors are Democrats.

Finally, you criticize me for spending time with the Indian tribes in Alaska. I consider that part of my job. I run the Indian Health Services, and I’ve had unprecedented success in transforming IHS from a backwater to a top priority for this department. I’ve made more trips to Indian country and to Indian health clinics and hospitals than any HHS secretary in history, and I’ve brought Indians into high positions on the sixth floor for the first time in agency history. Scott Adams, facing death, shows us how to live.

Someone recommended “How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big” by Scott Adams. I had burned out on mainstream books, but picked it up, and was hooked. He had put into words a way of living, similar to one I had found, except his approach was systemic and analytical. Better than my own slapdash notes. Outside of religious texts, Adams was and is as close to a “guide to life,” as you’ll ever find. And even if you’re religious, you still live in this world, and would be wise to learn how to navigate it.

Scott is closing in on the end of his life, and even now he is creating new beginnings.

I’d better write this now, I won’t be able to when it’s too late.

After losing Charlie Kirk, a lot of us are wondering how we can possibly write another obituary. While there’s much to complain about the internet and social media, those mediums expanded the sizes of our communities, our influences, and indeed our families. Too often we find new ways to hate people, instead of finding new people to love.

Scott Adams comes up in conversation at every social event I host. “How is Scott Adams doing? Will he make it?” We all talk about streams we watched and lessons learned. It’s a memorial except he’s still alive. Scott would love to hear that, which is why I have said so repeatedly. I’ve lost too many people, via death or fallings-out, to leave feeling unexpressed.

He’s been a surrogate father figure and mentor to millions of people.

Scott Adams is not liked, he is loved.

People don’t “like” Scott Adams, they aren’t “a fan of his.” They love this man. And I do as well. I’m still living in denial of his fate. We all are.

We’d been making a film about the meaning of life, and while Scott Adams had been in both of our other films, we hadn’t booked him for Meaning yet. Then we found out he was going to take the ride of assisted suicide. Foolishly, we had assumed he’d always be around. Nobody ever dies, right? Your dad will be there to take your call the next time you phone home. Your friends aren’t going anywhere. That’s how we too often live. We could book Scott later.

We reached out and he graciously agreed to be interviewed. We all knew it was going to be our last interview together. Scott and I are both efficient with our time. When a moment is over, it’s time to go do something else. Obligations call. The crew pushed this one as long as we could.

After the interview wrapped up and the gear was packed and it was time to go, there was an awkward pause. I broke it.

“Scott, we love you.” He said thank you. “No, Scott, we love you, I mean it, we all do. We love you.”

None of us broke down crying, not that there would have been any shame in that, but we no doubt all soon will.

Well then, what is the lesson of Scott Adams?

On a practical level, the lesson of Scott Adams is the power of showing up. Nobody works harder and on a more regular schedule. You can set your clock to Scott’s show. Too many of us wait for the muse of inspiration or the jolt of information to force us into action. Work, everyday, maybe in obscuring and without tangible benefits for years. Eventually you’ll hit your mark and go beyond.

Scott plugged away with his streams from a small account (after a huge career via Dilbert) and soon became must-watch, and then transcended his role to becoming something much more.

On a spiritual level, we might ask, why do we love Scott? It’s not because he’s so smart (he is). There are not shortage of intelligent, clever, Machiavellian, and rich people with podcasts. When one of them dies, what is lost? All of that Ego and desire for adoration, and does anybody even care? When those people fall while living, who will be there?

Scott is loved because he’s devoted his life to service to humanity. “What is the meaning of life,” is the question we ask every interviewee, and Scott’s answer, “Be useful to humanity.”

Despite pain, sickness, and inevitable death, Scott is doing his daily streams, serving his country and all of humankind until his end.

He’s a light to the world and a mirror for all of us.

What exactly are we doing with the gift of life given to us by God. (Scott believes in the Simulation, but I believe God evens this all out in the Judgment.) Are we doing enough for others? Are we doing anything for others?

Like everyone else, I’m capable of throwing myself a pity party. Sometimes when life is going too well, and I don’t have real problems, I invent some. That’s where the Ego brings you, recursively worshipping itself, and when that fails, tormenting itself, as each path leads to its own attention.

May all of us live more like Scott Adams, and may God bless his immortal soul when he passes.

They continue to cling to climate alarmism even as the rest of the world moves on.

They remain soft on crime, opposing President Trump’s deployment of the National Guard in cities where criminals run rampant and law-abiding citizens live in fear.

And in a final act of desperation, they triggered the longest federal government shutdown in history — before caving and achieving nothing.

Same issues. Same failure to connect.

The results speak for themselves. Democrats’ favorability sits at an abysmal 32.5%, well below Republicans’ 38.2% and far below President Trump’s 43.8%.

Then came Zohran Mamdani, the neophyte New York Democratic Socialist who toppled Democrats’ old guard in consecutive elections — first Mayor Eric Adams, then former Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Mamdani did what Democrats have always done: promise voters lots of free stuff. Only he did it on a far grander scale — buses, housing, child care, grocery stores.

Faced with his success, Democrats opted for the familiar response: If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em. They sanitized Mamdani’s socialism, rebranded it as “affordability,” and declared it their new cause.

That affordability is now Democrats’ issue should surprise no one. After all, they caused the crisis they now loudly lament.

Start with New York City, where affordability has collapsed most dramatically. According to Visual Capitalist’s ranking of America’s least affordable cities, Manhattan is No. 1, Brooklyn ranks sixth, and Queens seventh. In fact, the top 10 least affordable cities are overwhelmingly governed by Democrats and located in Democrat-dominated states: New York, Hawaii, California, and Massachusetts. By contrast, nine of the 10 most affordable cities are in Republican-dominated states.

The reasons are no mystery. They are the left’s preferred policies: high taxes that drive up the cost of living and chase out taxpayers; rent control that discourages new construction and fuels homelessness; and excessive regulation and litigation that inflate the cost of everything they touch.

The same pattern holds at the state level. U.S. News and World Report lists the 10 least affordable states, and the top six are California, New Jersey, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Washington, and New York. Nine of the 10 are blue states. Florida — the lone red-state exception — also boasts the No. 1 economy, ranks second in education, levies no state income tax, and continues to attract new residents in large numbers. Meanwhile, all 10 of the most affordable states are Republican-led.

What about inflation? Isn’t that a national problem?

Yes, but inflation didn’t materialize out of thin air. It began under the Biden administration, reaching a 40-year high of 9.1% in June 2022. CPI-U inflation was just 1.4% when Biden took office in January 2021. By March, it had nearly doubled. By June, it had surged to 5.4%. By December, it hit 7%. A year later, it still stood at 6.5%. Inflation did not fall below 3% until July 2024 — the 43rd month of Biden’s presidency.

Excessive Democrat spending fueled this surge. From fiscal years 2021 through 2024, the Congressional Budget Office shows cumulative deficits of $8.9 trillion, driven by roughly $8 trillion in spending above the pre-pandemic baseline. The only reason Democrats didn’t spend more is that members of their own party balked.

Inflation works like weight gain: it comes on fast and comes off slowly. Even when the rate of inflation declines, prices remain higher. There is no economic Ozempic. Americans are still paying the price for four years of Democratic fiscal gluttony.

None of this has stopped Democrats from claiming “affordability” as their issue — or from demanding more of the same policies that caused the crisis in the first place: higher spending, higher taxes, and more regulation.

Stripped of winning ideas, Democrats are now left with a single strategy: campaigning on the consequences of their own incompetence and hoping voters forget who caused them.

Truth that creates turbulence is now negative EV.

So it disappears.

2. Ideology is a side effect, not the driver

This is the part people get wrong.

These institutions did not become ideologically skewed because of politics.

They became skewed because politics is the safest camouflage for cowardice.

If you wrap yourself in moral language, you gain:
• immunity from challenge
• protection from scrutiny
• justification for exclusion
• license to punish dissent

Ideology is a shield.

Cowardice is the engine.

3. The smartest people left first

The people most capable of independent thought:
• see incentive gradients early
• detect dishonesty quickly
• hate speaking lies for survival
• refuse to subordinate cognition to status games

They exited.

Some went to industry.
Some went to finance.
Some went to startups.
Some went silent.

What stayed behind were not the dumb.
They were the compliant.

High IQ.
Low spine.

4. The system now rewards symbolic intelligence over real intelligence

Symbolic intelligence looks like:
• perfect language
• correct tone
• moral fluency
• citation stacking
• rhetorical smoothness

Real intelligence looks like:
• asking forbidden questions
• generating uncomfortable models
• breaking narratives
• tolerating social cost

Guess which one gets punished.

Over time, the institution forgets the difference.

5. This is an extinction-level event for institutional authority

Once an institution stops correcting itself, it enters decay mode.

Decay always looks like:
• increased moralization
• decreased tolerance for dissent
• obsession with language
• hostility to measurement
• elevation of feelings over falsification

That is where we are.

The public feels it.
They may not articulate it.
But they smell rot.

Trust collapses silently first.
Then suddenly.

The real truth most people won’t say is this:

Elite institutions failed because they abandoned adversarial truth-seeking.

They replaced strength with safety.
Reality with consensus.
Courage with compliance.

And once an institution selects against courage long enough, it loses the ability to produce truth at all.

At that point, collapse is not political.

It is structural.

And it is irreversible without a total reset.

That is the part no one wants to admit.

Elon says it's inevitable. And for once, the man who shot a car into space and saved free speech by buying Twitter might not be wrong. Britain isn’t headed toward civil war because people are racist, or bigoted, or paranoid. It’s because they’ve been lied to - again, and again, and again - and now they’re done pretending everything’s fine.

Here’s the setup: Illegal immigration is through the roof. Thousands arrive via small boats, with no documents, no vetting, no plans. They’re housed in hotels at taxpayer expense - nice ones, too - while Brits sleep in cars, sofa-surf, or languish on council waitlists that stretch into eternity. And if you dare question any of it, the entire establishment pounces: how dare you?

But the truth’s leaking out like a dinghy with a hole. People are being assaulted. Not by all migrants - of course not - but when you bring in tens of thousands without knowing who they are, some will be predators. And that risk, however small per capita, explodes in the aggregate. But pointing that out? Instant cancellation. Or worse - now they’re talking criminal charges under the Online Safety Act for “hate speech.” Translation: disagree with the narrative and we’ll shut you up.

People are being told it’s their moral duty to foot the bill, shut their mouths, and smile while the country unravels. And to make that compliance seamless, here comes the next brilliant idea: digital ID. Yes, nothing says freedom like having your identity, online speech, and financial access tethered to a government app. You know, for “security.” Just like every authoritarian regime in history said before things got really fun.

Brits aren’t stupid. They see the social contract being rewritten in real time. “We import chaos, you pay for it. We erase your speech, you clap. We lose control, you take the blame.” It’s 1984, except this time Winston Smith doesn’t even get the dignity of a telescreen - just a suspended social media account and a digital ID linked to his energy bill.

And the government? They wag their fingers at “right-wing extremists” while spending billions to warehouse strangers from who-knows-where with no plan to send them back. Deportations are a joke. The backlog of asylum claims is a national embarrassment. But don’t worry, someone’s just launched another taskforce. Maybe they’ll have matching lanyards.

People have had enough. Not of immigrants, per se - but of being gaslit by a political class that thinks they’re too stupid or too scared to notice the obvious. And when you push a population to the edge - tell them to shut up, fork over, and enjoy the ride - eventually, they push back. Hard.

Is civil war inevitable? Hopefully not. But civic trust is cratering, speech is being criminalized, identity is being digitized, and reality is being denied. At some point, the British public stops asking politely and starts asking furiously. And when that day comes, no amount of “fact-checking” or PR spin will stop the blowback.

The elites lit the fuse. The people are just waiting to see how long it burns.
