Day 4 of listening to billie eilish with my 5 year old and she has a few songs down word for word, working on a couple songs still. Today we also went over meanings of the songs (for her age limit).
End result: she would like to see her live!
-“We are all in support of K___ and this investigation, our parents are in support. The children’s safety here is our top priority.”
But yet the abuser is not on administrative leave during the investigation from DCF, Health Department and police department.
The 3 year old boy in this video was a child in my daughter’s room. (this happened after her pickup) the boy had been moved to a different location.
I spoke with the head administrator in person this morning and from her mouth she states-
The statement that parents received from the center this morning was utter BS from the “administrative team” completely written by the person whom the article is written about. she is currently employed and actively in the building around children as of today.
The news article came out 3 days ago and did not get enough traffic that a large amount of parents did not know about any of this until we received a note from the center this morning. The news article states that the daycare fails to comment (because we parents didn’t know)
I was studying child development, & when a parent or adult hits a kid throughout their childhood, they can end up developing a dissociative disorder in adulthood. A child cannot physically escape abuse majority of the time, so they mentally go else where and detach mentally in order to protect themselves as much as they can.
So as an adult, whenever they experience pain, fear, or discomfort, especially from a loved one, instead of knowing how to work through it, or even leave the abuse, they dissociate in order to mentally escape, while being frozen in fear.
So beating your child teaches them not only is it okay for someone you love to hit you, but it also teaches them how to stay in abusive situations.
Hopes this helps for anyone who uses the line “my parents beat me and I turned out fine”.
I also learned how abused children can end up being highly imaginative and creative as adults because they’ve constantly flexed that part of their brain in order to create a new world in their mind, practiced from dissociating as a child. This isn’t really a positive either because they find it very hard to ground themselves and to be a part of society/reality. They end up being hermits, struggle with socializing and can pick up addictions much easier.
Have You ever notice how when you end a connection with someone you barely ever see them again. Even if you both live in the same neighborhood you never run into them at the shop or the garage It’s because they are no longer in alignment with your life’s path. You
I think men are having a tough time with the way women have evolved. Women are no longer desperate for marriage, no longer need your money etc. The only thing that’s gonna hold a good modern day woman is integrity, like a real good man.
