The Game Master's Gambit launches this Wednesday, the 26th. Inspired by D&D and other ttrpgs, solve the puzzles to unlock the secrets of the Game Master's Gambit.
All is not as it seems, and you'd best be ready for anything, because the Game Master will see you soon...
I've been fairly quiet on here for a while, but that doesn't mean nothing is happening. The Game Master will see you soon, and you'd best be ready to solve his puzzles...
@philippawarr The other thing I do which is very project specific has been to pick something I find really fun about a project, even if it's impossible to start with that, and just...do that bit. Even if the actual work of it is useless/will be lost, it gets me into the headspace.
@philippawarr The best way I've found to deal (Not even close to 100% though) has been to sorta psyche myself out with fake Pomodoro? As in, promise myself I only need to do the first few steps, just take 10 mins to not have a blank page. After a couple false starts this often gets me into it
@enigmailed @jackson_pope Also, Flickfleet looks excellent. Jumping right up on the list to pick up.
There are way, way too many incredibly talented creatives in our corner of the internet. My wallet can't handle it!
@enigmailed @jackson_pope Still love that idea. Absolutely terrible at self-promo but will yell from the rafters how awesome you lot are. Q1 2022 has been atrocious sales-wise, hoping it picks up in Summer.
I have a new game to launch but pretty concerned about launching it to the sound of crickets!
@enigmailed@msraynsford@_FQteam@WeWereHereGame I'm running out of steam so will sign off for the day, but if I may indulge in a little self-promo, you can find my puzzle games at https://t.co/6osceTgHkk and my books at https://t.co/QPO48YNGXb

The start of the year tends to be really quiet for indie creators, and that been my experience with books+puzzle games. But! I seem to have developed a small, but lovely, following on here, so I thought I'd make some recommendations for other indies if you feel like browsing:
@enigmailed@msraynsford@_FQteam@WeWereHereGame Puzzles? What Puzzles? Another indie I want to recommend is Merle Hunt of Merle Made Tales, a wonderful artist and designer, whose work you may have seen on some of my book covers and in my game Lost in the Machine https://t.co/0uMy2kihdW
