@jasonmauck1@jasonmauck1 what row spacing are you on for the wheat now? A 60” row of wheat and then 40” gap of twin row 20” soybeans? Or am I hearing that wrong?
Some of the best standing and cutting beans on the market! With high yields from the RR2 and Extend genetic base these beans were built on! #Bayer4IL#StoneKnowsIL
Opening up some Stone 2XF4231-SR today! One of our top beans for Southern Illinois. WE LIVE HERE. WE FARM HERE. WE KNOW ILLINOIS. @StoneSeedIL #Bayer4IL#StoneKnowsIL#provenperformance
@benshapiro So. IL farmer here. Hear you talking about supply chain interruptions today.. this takes 6-8 months to replace and the cattle industry isn’t far behind and cattle takes 12-18 months to replace... it is going to get worse before it gets better if things don’t open soon
My school teachers use to tell me in school, quit looking out the window you’ll never find a job that you can do that. I beg your pardon I am gonna be a farmer. #iprovedthemwrong#farmerbyheart#wheatsowing
Alot of talk about how to kill weeds in soy for 2020. How bout keeping them from coming up? Many different ways to do it. Weed control should be preventative, layered on like a blanket, not reactionary. If u don’t have anything to fight there is no fight. Keep them in the ground
Developing Hybrids that perform above avg in 150 and below yield level parts of fields maybe the most important thing we can do for a SIL farmer. Here’s a tough piece we purposely put a plot on and some @StoneSeedIL hybrids that don’t fall off when the going gets rough.
Interesting look at hybrid response to Fungicide from one of our @StoneSeedIL dealer training plots. Ear size and yield differences aren’t always = to leaf disease differences. Even #Fortifield products with very little disease are showing nice advantage to Fungicide app.
@jasonmauck1 Yea I would be really interested to see those results. The work your doing is super interesting @jasonmauck1 keep up the good work! Thanks
@jasonmauck1 Okay thank you sir that makes more sense. What does the system look like without the manure piece of the pie? What if you just planted it the same spacings you do with conventional fertilizer.
