@jillybpb I published a law review article in the spring of 2023 that specifically addresses these legal issues as applied to the original Vibe-MLP merger. Some but not all circumstances are different now. DM me if you’re interested in some not so light reading.
Honored to see @UNHLaw's Sports Law Program ranked among the 20 best law schools in the United States with a focus on sports law by Sports Litigation Alert. This recognition is a testament to our amazing alumni and students, and support by the law school, Dean @megancarpenter, famed attorney, author and distinguished alumnus @djwood1976, @UofNH and many others. Thank you! https://t.co/anRsaD6YwG
@gartman_joshua Jackie Kawamoto has done this with three partners as well!
Lea - Orlando
Jessie - Mesa
Vivienne - Seattle
Also notable, that’s 3 Champ Sundays in 5 PPAs played on the year, and 4 medals in 5 tournaments.
@gartman_joshua@NmlPickleball@MajorLeaguePB I’m also a fan of the “we didn’t realize how so many people look themselves in the mirror every day and not jokingly think they should be in this division” line😂
@Pickleball There’s been a lot of discussion about how women’s dubs teams can beat ALW. Jackie and Jade just showed the recipe is working 40 hours per week and playing pickleball about twice a week…No Jim Kloss analysis needed.
Proud of my @UNHLaw sports law student @JLindquist42 for his outstanding and innovative law review note, "Cleaning out the Kitchen: Anti-Competitive Agreements in Professional Pickleball" being accepted for publication in @UVALaw Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. Great work!
This probably won't appear on the Bar Exam, but if the question asks "If one person could commit intentional infliction of emotional distress on an entire opposing team, who would it be?," the answer is Patrick Mahomes.
@NmlPickleball TV is so hungry for low-quality celebrity pickleball lol. This is also pretty unprincipled stuff from Johnny Mac who publicly ripped pickleball recently but apparently feels he deserves to go play a game he hates for more prize money than the actual sport’s pros have ever seen.
