@RachelBitecofer As a liberal and a racing fan, this has nothing to do with Trump and is the allure of street courses. This is a simple lock up when pushing too hard and applying too much brake. Nothing more nothing less.
@supertrucker@John__Ferguson@lostisreed@freightcaviar Other people than truckers use the roads so if safety is your big argument I'd argue it's safer to also have a number of signs in Spanish, especially along the Southern border.
@John__Ferguson@kingshoker_ Seems like a lot of rate shopping going on. If you have a morning pickup, carriers are just shopping and you have to overpay for morning pickup. Extra true if you have added stops.
@DRDREon290@thefreightnerd Trucking companies are essentially outsourcing their sales department for 12% margin. You don't have to work with brokers. You choose to because it's easier to call a load posted on DAT than making sales calls.
@Andersonj2273 You don't have to work with brokers. You choose to work with brokers because it's easier to get a load off of the load board than making hundreds of cold calls. You're outsourcing your sales department to a brokerage.
Stop being lazy and pickup the phone to call customers.
@thefreightnerd@John__Ferguson You're absolutely correct. I'm not in charge of our company's pricing model unfortunately. I've also heard enough from customers to know that more bad pricing robots exist than good.
