HUGE for USA 🔥
@frankmorano With it being the day before a federal holiday, that part of the city is not very active. Also with the money many of these places made due to the Knicks run I doubt this 1 event is putting them out of business. Why don’t yall focus on the rest of the city that actually need it
Tod Martin, AT&T Stadium’s general manager, is the genius who came up with the system to hang the Grow Lights from the rafters instead of rolling them in on wheels. He’s an A&M grad. I asked if this is a case of Aggie ingenuity. He smiled and said “You could say that.”
@DukeNBA A lot of dudes were “that guy” in college or were the star of a great program and went to the league to do not much. Looking at the last 14 years, Austin career doesn’t even skim what Draymond has. Even Austin said he’s a HOFer but tried to add asterisks
@JamCristopher Draymond is 3 years older and still active. I don’t like either of these dudes but Austin saying Draymond is a future HOFer and in the same breath belittling his career is laughable. Draymond is no role model, but for his position and his role on the team he’s elite. Austin isn’t
I don’t usually share personal things here, but I’ve been carrying something heavy these past couple weeks.
My dad passed away two Saturdays ago and I’m still trying to process what that means.
One of the biggest things we shared in life was the LA Galaxy. It was our “thing.” It’s what we bonded over. Over 20+ years, so many memories were built around this club. My first games at the Rose Bowl. Season tickets since the day DHSP opened. Away days. Championships in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2024. We experienced all of that together.
He’s the reason I’m a fan. The reason I care as much as I do.
What I keep coming back to is how grateful I am for the timing of one of the last things we did together.
We filmed a piece about legacy, about passing something down from father to son. It was an opportunity, as a grown man, to look my father in the eyes and thank him for all of the sacrifices he made and all the love that he gave us.
My dad didn’t have a father growing up. No blueprint, no example. But somehow, he became everything I could have ever needed and more.
I love you, Dad. I’m going to miss you more than I can put into words.
You were the biggest G I knew and I know you’ll be watching with me at every game and watch party.

"New Orleans called me, 'Jose we really want you' ... we celebrated like I was the No. 1 pick."
