Calling all strategic leaders in refugee, migration, and racial equity organisations across the Liverpool City Region and Northern Ireland!
In response to the racist and Islamaphobic riots in August last year, we are launching a fully funded online programme designed to empower senior leaders with peer-supported learning, professional coaching, and Action Learning.
By prioritising these communities, we aim to strengthen local connections, enhance the influence of individuals and organisations, and equip local leaders with the skills and knowledge necessary to tackle their communities' unique challenges.
📅Applications close: Monday 19 May 2025

Black and racially minoritised leaders in the social sector face systemic barriers like discrimination, limited access to funding, and lack of networks, making it an uphill battle to support their communities.
To support racial equity, we’re offering a bursary to join the May cohort of our Experienced Leader programme. ➡️https://t.co/5X3j1IpB2o
We've updated our website to clarify our approach to funding Sport and the Arts and to applications from non-charities like CICs (in NI we only fund registered charities)

Well today I started a new role as Programme Director of a new Race Equality Hub at the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority with a new amazing team - Maleka, Brodie and Justine. Can't believe I am going to be back in my home town working on something I feel passionate about
It was great to meet you, Steve, and a privilege to be involved in celebrating the importance of @VLCLiverpool to those most in need in our communities
It'd be great to have some access to green space in this part of the city. We used to have St. Luke's Gardens (the Bombdy), but that's been closed off for years
Great meeting today at Roscoe Gardens with @sean051 & my 90s clubber @JohnnieMaguire with plans to revive a precious space in the heart of the city 💚
