Turning 29 in July, with two years left on his contract, Jeffery Simmons now becomes the first defensive tackle to land $100 million guaranteed.
Here are the highest-paid DTs in the NFL on a per-year basis:
🏈Jeffery Simmons: $35.3M
🏈Chris Jones: $31.75M
🏈Dexter Lawrence: $28M
🏈Milton Williams: $26M
🏈Jordan Davis: $26M
Sorsby to the Browns makes sense as long as they aren’t bidding something ridiculous for him, and I don’t really understand the pushback to adding him from the fanbase.
A 3rd round pick for his services doesn’t stop you from doing anything in the draft.
Leclerc is getting very underrated now for no real reason.
We can criticise his mistakes but let's not pretend he's out of contention for anything & useless - he's still absolutely rapid
If there really is a title fight for Lewis, Leclerc will be our biggest issue
If he genuinely thinks Watson & Sanders are a toss up then make Sanders the starter now. Playing Watson makes no sense unless he is clearly better than the others.
