@vijeshetty@nitin_gadkari@NHAI_Official Problem is people with high clearance vehicles sometimes just drive over the median to make an exit or drive in the wrong direction.
@owellisch@MOSSADil On the job training, not working well when the job required intelligence and adaptability.
At this stage JD can’t be trusted with a cutlery knife, leave aside the Middle East!
@MattFeinbergEsq@MOSSADil JD’s political career was finished the moment he hobnobbed with the people who sheltered AQ chief and public enemy number 1, UBL.
Not to forget the Americans / JD then went on to welcome the Syrian AQ chief, Jolani to the WH!
@marklevinshow Can’t blame the Emiratis when the lone superpower is struggling to get a peace deal, inspite of making all possible concessions!
America is stuck right now, between bleeding money on a war not authorised by the senate and an Iran, which wants exactly this!
@annathinksaloud “Jolani at the WH” was basically tied into the Qataris owning the Americans, and that the CIA probably created him (to kick out Assad).
So that one was predictable and everyone saw it coming.
@JDVance JD, to preserve your credibility, try to stay away from all this mess, it’s painful to watch the sole superpower on Earth struggling to get a cease fire implemented and sustained. You might have inflicted physical damage, but on the political front the Iranians have won.
Anyone who claims that IDF soldiers shoot people "for fun" is lying. When I was in basic training I was often given guard duty. I was a fresh soldier in the IDF Logistics Corps, my commanders repeatedly drilled the rules of engagement into us.
Before my very first sentry duty shift, my commander reviewed them with me once again. If someone entered the area or approached the fence below the watchtower, the first step was to shout at them in both Hebrew and Arabic to stop, turn around, and leave. If they continued approaching, or if they appeared armed, we were instructed to warn them again in Hebrew and Arabic: "Stop or I will shoot."
If the person kept advancing, only then could we load the rifle and fire a warning shot into the air while issuing another verbal warning. Even after that, if they continued moving toward the fence or the position, the instructions were to aim at the lower body, such as the legs, in an attempt to stop the threat without killing them.
The message was clear from day one: use force only as a last resort. As fresh soldiers in boot camp we were taught to do everything possible to avoid taking a life, and lethal force was only permitted after multiple warnings and when a genuine threat remained and if the enemy was armed.
We are taught as soldiers to never ever deliberately harm anyone who is unarmed or who does not pose a threat to our lives and to never even point our rifle at another human being unless they pose a direct threat to us, even if our rifle isn't loaded!
