Elon Musk has today updated the formula that decides if you see this tweet.
Each tweet is scored.
S=Σ (probability of reaction × value of reaction)
A like = 0.5 points.

That’s why outrage travels faster than facts. https://t.co/yc50CjyZPY
“What kind of a depraved monster slices off a woman’s breast while she is being gang raped, and throws it into the dust to be used as a plaything? What kind of a twisted pervert turns rape into necrophilia by shooting a woman in the head while he is still defiling her?
What kind of ‘freedom fighters’ go into battle with a set of handy Arabic-to-Hebrew phrases, including ‘take off your pants’, ‘lie down’, and ‘spread your legs’?
What self-respecting human being presses nails, scalpels, a hammer, an axe, screwdrivers and other household tools into a woman’s genitals?
How hard do you have to rape someone, and with what, to shatter their pelvis? Who shoots a young girl in the face and then films her mutilated corpse on her brother’s mobile phone?
The answer is: Hamas terrorists. This is the stark reality of what they did to men, women and children on October 7, 2023. And the world must never forget.”

Standing ovation for this line from King Charles: The U.S. Supreme court historical society has calculated that Magna Carta is cited in at least 160 supreme court cases since 1789, not least as the foundation of the principle that executive power is subject to checks and balances.
What fantastic news from Hungary. Proof that if you stand up to it right wing kleptocratic populist authoritarianism can be beaten. Orban will now flee somewhere with his wealth. But this is more than a bad night for him. It is a bad night for Putin who as in Moldova spent a fortune trying to rig it. It is a bad night for Trump. It is a bad night for Vance and Rubio who believed that their mere presence in Budapest would swing the vote Orban’s way. They helped Magyar! . It is a bad night for Farage the AfD and Le Pen because it shows that when their brand of politics is exposed to serious opposition and scrutiny it collapses. Magyar is far from the perfect leader but my God he deserves all the congratulations coming his way for ousting Orban and showing how it can be done. He now has the tough job of dismantling the corrupt systems and bodies installed over 16 years. The people of Hungary deserve our thanks for showing these people can be beaten. And Zelensky now deserves far greater support from Europe.
So now Trump asks Britain to send warships to fight in the Strait of Hormuz. Just a few days after stating that he didn't need our help. Oh, and all this for a war which he claims is "already won". The man is deranged.
HOW LOUIS THEROUX OUTMANNED THE MANOSPHERE, by Kathleen Stock (@DocStockk)
For people who talk endlessly about escaping ‘the matrix’ — meaning the 9-5 grind, labouring away fruitlessly for the benefit of shadowy elites — manosphere influencers, ironically, are almost entirely made up of other people’s projections. They pine desperately for public attention, and are constantly conjuring up ways of getting more.
In Louis Theroux’s latest documentary, everyone is trapped in degrading roles, passive in the face of their own limbic systems — the streamers themselves; the half-naked OnlyFans girls straddling them for the camera; the liberal feminists and fat-positive influencers wheeled on to be horribly insulted; the viewers doing the slack-jawed scroll in their bedrooms, dreaming of having big channels one day too.
This urge to be famous starts young. For every massive streamer account, there are thousands of unknown ones made by children, where pre-pubescent wannabes film themselves gaming or reacting to videos.
In a parallel universe, boys like this grow up to have happily ordinary lives, unnoticed by the all-devouring algorithm. In this one, though, they get caught up in a freak show, dutifully becoming pitiful monsters.

Beyond wild. He will not condemn Russia under any circumstances.
Compare this to the language he used against Britain today.
This is the guy Reform are in bed with.
The justification for charging tuition fees, with reverse triple lock interest, and resulting 9% extra income tax, is the graduate premium.
This, you are told, is the extra lifetime earnings from which you will benefit as a degree holder. And we believe that to be between £100,00 - £150,000 over the course of your career.
But “believe” is the operative word.
The thing is, we don’t know.
But the government does.
That’s because they have something called LEO data - Longitudinal Education Outcomes. And it tracks the university, course, and earnings of nearly 40 million people.
Here’s the kicker: they won’t release the full data to the public, to you. Only to pre-approved researchers. And even then, they don’t get the whole dataset.
That’s because pressure groups that represent universities have lobbied for it to remain private. They say you can’t measure the value of an education in a salary. That it’s about the soul and the mind and enrichment and growing up.
And I agree with them, if only for the fact that they did have a really specific idea of the value of an education when they were taking my money. And indeed the government does too: +9% on my marginal tax rate.
So the ask is simple. Release the records. Let graduates make an informed choice about the actual value of their degree. They just have to press publish.
What have they got to hide?
In 1943, Black American soldiers arrived in Lancashire.🇬🇧🇺🇸
Back home, they couldn't eat in the same restaurants as white people. Couldn't drink in the same bars.
The locals didn't care about any of that.
They said come in.
Same pubs. Same pints. Same welcome as everyone else.
They danced together. Drank together. Walked through the village together.
One soldier said he didn't know he was coloured until he looked in the mirror.
Then the US commanders tried to stop it. They demanded the village separate them.
Every pub refused.
A barmaid called Gillian Vesey served whoever was next. No exceptions.
Military police walked into a pub and tried to arrest a soldier for wearing the wrong uniform.
A British soldier stood up.
"Why do you want to arrest them? They're not doing anything wrong."
That night, things turned violent. A soldier was killed. The commanding general blamed the white officers. Racist officers were removed.
The soldiers went home. But they carried something with them.
The memory of a place that treated them like people.
One veteran said: "These soldiers were never going back to accept being treated as less."
"None of us were."
A small Lancashire village showed them what was possible.
Not by marching. Not by protesting.
Just by being decent.
They didn't think they were being brave. They were just being British.🇬🇧
This is who we are. Help us show the world.
