Ancient Hard Stone Precision Vases... are Fakes? Again?
My response: https://t.co/yHvWUxWFNt
There have been some claims made recently - and again - that the amazing hard stone vases from Ancient Egypt shown to possess remarkable precision attributes have been conclusively shown to be 'modern fakes.' I quite disagree.
The context around these vases, their precision and sophistication has been extensively documented by myself as well as several others across what's loosely termed 'the vase scan project.' I do not need to re-hash all the amazing findings made on these artifacts, I have hours of content on my channel that covers it.
I've been asked about this recent claim a few times, so I thought I'd track down the origin for it and address it. You can find the article I've written in response to these claims on my website, https://t.co/M0rO2gSAjK - or go direct to the article here: https://t.co/yHvWUxWFNt
Now back to making my video on ancient Mendes.
Cheers
Ben.
@thevivafrei@RealCandaceO The prosecutors for Kyle Rittenhouse did exactly that. They edited original footage and introduced it at trial. I agree we need more evidence that it happened here, but why are you so adamant they wouldn't dare do such a thing?
@philthatremains@OwenShroyer1776@Patriot_Clips Anything including leaving someone who committed no crimes in jail because they said something you didn't like? Yeah, sounds very anti-communist.
@thevivafrei@NapaSwDev@martyrmade Hold on, who is claiming the right photo "was the actual evidence presented at the hearing?" You're being intentionally obtuse.
@thevivafrei@takenaps Just because it was presented in court means it's a true reflection of the original video? Didn't prosecutors for Kyle Rittenhouse manipulate video footage & attempt to introduce it in court? The answer is yes cause they got caught & I'm almost certain you covered it at the time.
@thevivafrei Well to be fair, the prosecutors for Kyle Rittenhouse did exactly that. I agree we need more evidence that it happened here, but why are you so adamant they wouldn't dare do such a thing?
@philthatremains@Patriot_Clips Leave him in jail based on his political views even though he was actually innocent of wrongdoing on J6? How very anti-communist of you Phil.
Also, can someone post the full clip where @OwenShroyer1776 actually says he's voting for Democrats?
@LauraLoomer@joekent16jan19 What's up with all these Islamic countries paying American Christians to lobby for/support the United States? What's their angle? Just like Qatar paying Tucker, now Iran is paying @joekent16jan19 to be "America First?" Joe Kent, how could you do this?
@TorontoKimM@thevivafrei Or maybe they shouldn't have been forced to close to begin with? Why is Walmart essential but Billy's mom & pop grocery was not?
A major lesson we should have learned from the GWOT, especially the Iraq war, is how dangerous it is to manipulate intelligence in order to justify a war.
In Iraq, we claimed that Saddam had WMD & that he was supporting Al-Qaeda. As we would later learn, neither was true & Saddam was not a threat to us. He was, ironically, a threat to Iran.
Once we invaded Iraq, we found no WMD— & our presence instead served as a lightning rod for Al-Qaeda fighters to flood Iraq and kill American soldiers.
This launched the U.S. into the escalation trap: believing we had to stay in Iraq to “fix it.” It cost us the lives of nearly 5,000 American troops, countless casualties that continue to devastate the veteran population to this day, & over $3 trillion.
Despite knowing all of this, today we’re seeing the same claims used to justify our war with Iran—threats of WMD & warnings of Iranian-backed terrorists poised to attack us—and once again we launched a war that will likely end up a self-fulfilling prophecy of the manipulated intelligence. Not only have our actions demonstrated to the Iranians that obtaining a nuclear weapon is a form of deterrence for them, this war will likely invite blowback terrorism here on American soil.
We have the opportunity to use the evidence from our recent history to inform our next move and walk away now, instead of doubling down to spiral ourselves into yet another aimless and bloody war under the guise of “fixing” our mistakes. We should take it.
@ZevLapin@ComicDaveSmith So warning of WWIII being possible really means it's "imminent and inevitable?"
