It was the end of an era on Friday when the former HSQE Manager Haydn Weaver retired after 15 years with VP Yorkshire (former Strategic Team Group).
Haydn, Dave and I made a fantastic team of 3 in H&S for many years and I’m grateful for that 😀

Our #refurbishment development at the Former Cookridge Hospital, Leeds undertaken by @teamvistryp Yorkshire is looking good and as well as providing much needed homes, it will also provide fantastic views of Leeds and the surrounding area due to its elevated position!

IOSH are proposing changes to the #IOSH membership structure for the Health & Safety Profession to be more transparent and to include experience and knowledge as well as qualifications with some changes to membership grades

2 years ago today I completed my radiotherapy which marked the end of 8 months of active treatment for breast cancer which included surgery and chemotherapy. I will forever be grateful to the NHS for their dedication and care shown to me 👍

Had results of the first 2 modules in the Construction Management Diploma I’m studying via #distancelearning. Both scored above 90% in the “excellent” range. A pass was 40% so very happy with my score 👍 Only another 18 modules left to do to complete it! #studying #selfgrowth

I’m all set up at home to provide continued remote #healthandsafety support to the @teamvistryp Yorkshire Business Unit.
Good collaborative working so far and making use of Microsoft Teams where possible.
If we all continue adapting our workflow we will get through this!

I visited our @teamvistryp site at Bondfield Crescent near Barnsley today to carry out an SSER and it is looking good. Some plots have already been handed over to the Client. Well done to the Site Project Team so far

First health and safety site visit to our @teamvistryp Yorkshire project at Beachill Drive near Wakefield yesterday. The development will provide 30+ affordable homes to the area. The site has been setup up very well by our Site Team 👍

Works are progressing nicely on our former Cookridge Hospital development in Leeds. The former cancer hospital is being converted into 3 storey townhouses and apartments with an additional 6 No. new build properties

Another session of the Utilities Services Coordinator training took place in the @gtpartnerships Yorkshire office yesterday with another 7 Site Managers. The course was a mixture of workshop style delivery and practical demonstration. Great course! #training

Works have started on our Hedley Chase development in Leeds and I had my first #healthandsafety visit to site today. All credit to the Site Manager as he has set up the site well in these initial stages 👍

The @gtpartnerships Northern H&S Team were @MabeyHire Durham today on a Groundworks Equipment Familiarisation course which included a demo of some of the trench boxes and shoring equipment. Thoroughly enjoyable day with some Advisers getting hands on! @Danny_Hunt_GTP @JConfrey1
