For the youth: The Westerwelle Foundation, in partnership with the German Federal Foreign Office, inaugurated its first Kenyan innovation hub, the Westerwelle Startup Haus Mombasa (WSHM).
The project aims to help skilled youth in the coastal county nurture and monetise their talents. The Westerwelle Foundation will also offer funding for viable arts businesses to train and support the scaling up of successful ventures.
The hub offers incubation and acceleration programs, co-working spaces, and networking events to support entrepreneurs and small businesses in the coastal region.
