Rayon Sports are the 2026 CECAFA Kagame Cup champions after edging Kenyan champions Gor Mahia 2-1 after extra time in a thrilling final at Amahoro Stadium on Friday.

• The triumph ended a 28-year wait for regional glory. Rayon Sports last won the CECAFA title in 1998 when they defeated Tanzania's Mlandege FC 2-1 in the final. Nearly three decades later, the Kigali giants reclaimed the trophy in front of a packed home crowd at Amahoro Stadium.

It makes sense that the collapse of “international law” would take place along the dismantling of the UN and its agencies.

What is actually collapsing is the post WW2 order.

The UN itself was born of the collapse of the post WW1 order and its multilateral institution, the League of Nations.

The question now is whether a new 21st Century multilateral order - and its constituent institutions - is possible to be birthed without global war as was the case in the birth of the previous two orders of the 20th Century.

The relationship between Rwanda and M-23 is incidental. The FDLR is committed to killing Banyarwanda, especially the Tutsi along with those who disagree that the Tutsis should be exterminated in both Rwanda and the DRC.

So it is the FDLR, through its aims, that creates links between Rwanda and M-23.

Therefore, any relationship between Rwanda and M-23 would be to prevent the stated aims of the FDLR - which is to exterminate their people in Rwanda and in the Kivus.

Why would anyone be against that? Why would anyone even ask the question in the first place as if they would find some benefit in such extermination?
