#bcm325 I'm starting to feel that the dialogue in the film is immaterial to what Kubrick is attempting to make us comprehend. He wants the audience to feel its important but its somewhat filler to the entire idea of the film. More of a documentary-style rather than story-driven

#bcm325 such a unique colour palette to set the scene when introducing the movie. The hints of red denote danger or power. The colour pink (seats) and white (background walls of the ship) signifies the innocence and the beauty of Kobriks interpretation of space.

Fascinating how Kubrik thought the 2000s would look like and that we would travel and live in space despite still living and commuting on earth 20 years later. His thoughts, beliefs and ideas of the future were set to such a high standard. #bcm325
