Our Covid-related absences are growing exponentially. Within a week or two they’ll be the highest ever. Covid rules end 19 July. Self-isolation rules not eased until 16 August. This will be a shit show for business.

Dunelm has 174 stores, made £1 billion of sales last year, £109 million of profits and on track to make pre-tax profits of £148 million.
M&S has 1,000 stores, made £10 billion of sales, and is expected to announce £43 million pre-tax profit..
