I believe AMP emails to be the single most exciting tool for revolutionising the way customers engage with your content.
Take https://t.co/8RSrb9REuj...
As a customer myself, being able to generate relevant deals and preview locations & packages without having to leave the email is a game-changer.
This is just the tip of the iceberg!
Reading is the highest ROI activity you can do in your free time.
If you're looking for a book to start reading (that will actually make a difference in your life) it has to be:
Atomic Habits.
Here's 3 lessons from Atomic Habits that have made me a better agency owner:
1. "Every action you take is a vote for the person you want to become."
When I first co-founded Titan with @BillyC_Titan I was useless (he can attest to this).
Zero confidence.
Low self-worth.
A huge ego.
And the reason for this?
My identity was stuck. Clinging to that of a Uni student.
It was inconceivable for me to put in the hard work because 'I'm a uni student, it shouldn't be this hard'.
The second that mindset switched - it was like I'd transformed.
I envisioned the identity of a successful agency owner - and started taking actions (votes) to become that person.
One small change in my beliefs - 'I am a successful business owner' led to a series of actions that got me here.
2. "You don't rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems."
Truer words have never been spoken.
Success without systems is a fluke.
Success with great systems is a guarantee.
Remember...
One day it won't be you, but someone else running your business (if that's your goal).
The systems have to be perfect if you're going to maintain the same quality that your clients expect.
3. The 2 minute habit rule (and how this transformed my morning work blocks)
The 2 minute habit rule goes as follows:
The starting part of any new habit should take only 2 minutes (max).
If a new habit feels like a challenge it will add more friction in being consistent.
The action that follows these first 2 minutes can be as challenging as you want but the first 2 minutes are everything to get you started.
I wake up every morning and make my bed.
A small habit that sets off a chain-reaction of events that lead to a productive work day.
Wake up > Make bed > Brush teeth > Daily task prioritisation > 2x 90 minute work blocks > Break my fast > set up for success.
@Oliversmith1023 Without failure, you have no benchmark.
I'd sooner (and have) fail 100x and learn from every experience...
Than self-implode the moment you face any adversity due to a lack of experience.
Failure is just a tool for growth.
I love the concept of action vs motion.
Motion = Planning, strategising, learning
Action = Behaviour that delivers an outcome
You can't have one without the other...
But many are stuck in motion.
Why?
Because motion allows us to feel like we’re making progress, without actually moving forward.
And only action can get you where you want to be.
@wizofecom Work blocks are the way to go.
I follow the philosophy of waking up and eating the frog.
> High stress/high creativity tasks first thing (2 blocks)
> Recurring tasks next. (2 blocks)
> Admin tasks to finish the day. (1 block)
Feel 100x more productive.
Just because YOU built it, doesn't mean it's perfect.
There's only one way to improve your systems...
Collect feedback from your team - regularly.
They're stuck into your systems ever day.
We've recently created an automated feedback system where our team members can log:
x SOP Improvements
x Project Management Improvements
x Workflow Improvements
x Agency lifecycle Suggestions
1. It takes one minute to log a ticket
2. I'm automatically tagged
3. I rank priority
4. Once a week I review & appoint time to implement.
Literal game-changer.
You're never too small (and never too big) to start collecting feedback.
We never see ecom growth in Q1...
Is what our client's used to say!
But not anymore.
We're seeing slow and steady growth month-on-month for all of our clients.
The secret 👇
A commitment to constant improvement with A/B testing.
Each month you should be:
1. Selecting one low performing metric to target
2. Running the same test across every single campaign
3. Reviewing the data at the end of every single month to see what works
4. Taking those changes and implementing them for all future campaigns
5. Rinse and repeat
Growth is really that simple.

Comment 'Improvement' and it's yours.
Steal this if you don't have a Loyalty Program.
Here's the EXACT system we use to increase repurchase rate by 56%.

Your SMS channel sucks.
And here's the reason why...
You're not creating an exclusive club.
We've generated $100,000s with SMS.
Here's how you can do the same 👇
1. The difference between Email & SMS
SMS is perfect for:
x Urgent messages
x Time-sensitive offers
x Exclusive deals
x Customer feedback
x Order updates
SMS is not a re-hash of your email content.
Treat it as such...
And I guarantee you retain <50% of your SMS list month-on-month.
So start differentiating your content.
2. Your SMS-subscribers want to be treated as VIPs
A survey found that SMS customers want:
x Invitations to VIP experiences: 38%
x Loyalty programs and benefits: 36%
x Birthday deals: 34%
So start giving these to them...
And they'll love you for it.
Bonus: use two-way text to find out exactly what your customers want...
And you've got a customer for life.
3. Use SMS to greatly improve your Customer Experience
Transactional messages provide essential transaction or account information, such as order confirmations and shipping details.
They are the life blood of customer service.
Create transactional SMS for the following:
x Account Verification
x Order Confirmation
x Shipping Confirmation
x Out For Delivery
x Delivery Confirmation / Updates
What you may see as basic messages...
I see as:
x Reduced customer support tickets
x Increased brand trust (+ loyalty)
x Excellent customer service
Remember 👉
SMS is a complement to your email channel...
And works best when used alongside email, targeting different aspects of customer communication.
Every time you create a new SMS, ask yourself:
Is this content...
Unique from your email messages?
Relevant to the target segment?
Valuable above and beyond the content your email subscribers are receiving?
Get this right and you'll be golden.
As an email marketer, THIS email got me to click.
Why?
1. Header details EXACTLY what to expect.
2. Benefit-driven CTA (above the fold) makes clicking easy.
3. Clean, engaging & relevant reviews (gif format)
4. Obvious offer + CTA (no BS hook or hurdles)
5. Minimalist af.
Klaviyo hates this one weird trick!
We saved our client $1k/month with 3x simple changes.
E-commerce owners, this ones for you...
1. Review your Email billing plan.
> Klaviyo charges per profile stored... And they auto-upgrade you based on sending volume.
> After BFCM your sending is hyper-inflated and most brands forget to downgrade their plan after this (auto-upgraded).
> This simple trick can save upwards of $1k per month alone...
But there's more.
2. Review your SMS credit usage.
> Most Ecom brands grossly overuse their SMS credits.
> Refine & optimise all of your messaging (campaigns + flows) to be 160 characters or under, and 70 or under if the text has an emoji or special character.
> Why? Extra credits = extra costs for very little ROI.
We saved a client $600 per month through credit optimisation alone.
And finally...
3. Understand your integrations.
> I can't tell you how many times we've come into an account that doesn't know they're paying for a review software, a loyalty software, another review software, another SMS platform etc.
> Get a hold on this & stamp it out early.
> Email, SMS, Push, Reviews can all be done in Klaviyo
And that's a wrap.
"Email marketing is oversaturated, you won't make it..."
That's the chorus we heard over and over.
Yet, here we stand:
A thriving client-base.
Fresh leads every week.
Oversaturation just thins the herd of competition...
Leaving more room for you to stand out.
@BillyC_Titan This isn't a ranty post telling you that going monk-mode, locking yourself away, telling all of your friends to fuck off will magically gift you success...
But at some point in your journey...
You will be lonely.
And you need to take advantage of this time.
Use it to lock-in.
Whoever said entrepreneurship is lonely...
Is absolutely right.
But here's the twist:
I'm grateful for that loneliness...
Because Titan Marketing is doing the highest rev/month it's ever done - and it wouldn't be possible if I hadn't of been 'lonely'.
Proof? 👇
