I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.
John 9:4

Even Jesus had limited time. Don’t delay in obeying God.

[Jeremiah P. Mensah @JPMensah_]

No one has ever gone and sinned no more.

It’s not about “doing your best”. The instruction was “NO MORE”. So if we’re to be saved by that, then we’re doomed. Thankfully, that’s not the case. Jesus was telling us why we need to trust in Him instead of our works.

[Jeremiah P. Mensah @JPMensah_]

Did Jesus fail?

If He did, our forgiveness and righteousness would be based on whether we live perfect lives or not.

If He succeeded (newsflash, He did!), then our forgiveness and righteousness is based on what HE accomplished.

Such a glorious truth to rest in 🙌🏾

Note what is past, and enjoy the present truth.

Rom 3:23 is one of the most misused verses in the Bible, and it’s all because we stop reading at a comma.

Yes we were sinners, but we’ve been justified (v 24). We had no right to say we have no sin, but we confessed and God cleansed us (1 Jn 1:8-9)

Any message that points to you instead of Christ is not the gospel. For reference, read the New Testament epistles and see how Paul, Peter etc used the Old Testament accounts to point back to Christ.

Reality check: You are NOT the hero of any biblical account, story, or passage. Jesus is!

[Jeremiah P. Mensah @JPMensah_]

With that said, any message that briefly glosses over the passages and then suddenly makes you the hero of the story must be rejected!

It’s not normal for you to doubt salvation IF you’re constantly hearing the true gospel of grace.

But if you consistently hear a different “gospel”, one that is based on your works, then it’ll be normal for you to doubt your salvation every now and then

@ChadRutter_ @jkhoe Thank you!!

There’s just something about worship that makes life…easier.

It’s like…as I focus on how great my God is, every problem I’m facing seems to shrink…until it seems like nothing.

It’s a cheat code to living a stress-free life.

Instead of worrying, worship

It’s easy to remember God at the beginning of each year and be grateful to Him, but as the days and weeks go by, we might end up forgetting that He is with us in everything we’re doing.

He never leaves your side so don’t leave Him out of your daily life 😊

What’s a misconception people have about God that you wish you could clarify once and for all?

What is the biggest hindrance or obstacle in your walk with God?

Oh what peace we often forfeit
Oh what needless pain we bear
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer

[Jeremiah P. Mensah @JPMensah_]

Dear believer, overcoming temptation begins with first knowing and acknowledging who you are in Christ! Then, yield to the Holy Spirit in everything, including the ‘little’ things!
