@Loomin_Knotty@BoilerBurner1 @TheMolitorGroup What are the two different time intervals? The one McDonald’s All American he’s talking about is Caleb Swanigan. He was a freshman in 2015. So he could have changed the 19 years to 10 it doesn’t change anything.
@DavoinShowerH66@TreyKnowsBall Because he is from Canada and here on a student visa he is not allowed to get NIL money. He pretty much missed out on a lot of money the past couple years.
@reliablepackfan @Boiler0fLegend I would argue it is always hard to win a national championship. So of course it will be hard, but who knows, we could put a team out there with more talent and win it all.
@Gertie_Green69 @BlainHizer@BarstoolPU I agree I was more saying there isn’t like a rule preventing it. Like yeah he could… but really doesn’t make sense and kinda can’t. But it’s fine, Gillis is a Boiler forever, gave us 4 great years.
@AssemblyCall I love Gillis and seeing him go hurts, but it would be the same if he graduated and didn’t have an additional covid year. I hope he finds a spot where he is happy regardless of where that is, and I will root for him no matter what
@TreysFlow @AssemblyCall I love Gillis and if he wanted to stay I’d be like find a way for him to stay. But I get it and whether his decision is going to a mid major starting and being the star or going to a contender and being a role player glue guy I’ll be happy for him as long as it’s what he wants
@koleszar1982@HabitualBoiler I get passing on Morton, even though I think he could do very well somewhere, but Gillis… I’d take him at any program. Great shooter, great teammate, ultimate hustle guy. He will make any team better with what he brings both individual skill wise and intangible team glue guy
@BlainHizer@BarstoolPU I mean he could return but he was already a redshirt senior with purdue, on the team 5 years played 4. With 6 freshman coming in there wasnt really roster spots. Probably could have had one if he wanted, but probably felt it was time to move on
@itsAntWright I wonder if Heide could play some at 4. He is like 6’7 so I don’t think it’d be bad. Not saying his game is necessarily like Gillis but Gillis is listed at 6’6
@TheRally@RaphealDavis3@Stadium@BoilerBall Love to see someone respecting Moore the way he deserves. Watching the baby boilers I always thought he was the best player but somehow overshadowed by Hummel and JJ, no disrespect to them E’Twaun was just always my guy
@leseih94@RaphealDavis3 Can’t argue against biggie but also think it’s harder to put a guy that played two years over people who had 3 or 4. Probably make the same argument with Ivey. But wouldn’t be upset with people putting either on their list.
@HarrisonKa5017@BoilerInTexas My view on that was stop being afraid to shoot. Would have rather shot 3s and missed and lose than not shot any and lose. Gotta give yourself a chance in my opinion
@morenosburner Did you not see the part where I acknowledged the loss? I never said we won. Never said anything bad against UConn, they were the better team and deserved the win. But to hate on Edey after his performance is absolutely idiotic. Nice try though
Anyone hating on Edey for this game is an idiot. He showed up, just like he does every game. Not disappointed with a loss, disappointed the rest of the team seemed to play scared
@HadEnuffInNV @SportsSpicer Did you stop reading after that? Where I then mentioned other players. I get reading comprehension is hard but as I stated I wasn’t JUST talking about Edey. I also don’t put my self worth in how many Twitter followers I have and honestly don’t want any.
@HadEnuffInNV @SportsSpicer Again I’m not just talking about Edey. It’s the entire team that has been developed. Every year. No 5 stars yet they have a good team every year. And again Yuki > Max
@MKnight_1984 I think we had a better shot in a best of 1 lol. I also would have loved to see a 7 game series in hope the team played better in at least one. May not have happened uconn may have been the entire reason they played poorly, but would have loved to see them play more their game
